CSS - A Little Assist Please
First off, I am NOT a coder, far from it, so of course I get nailed with a css coding task that just has me going in circles.
This is the existing code for the navigation menu: Code: <-my apologies for pasting a huge chunk of code in -> div#navbar2 { margin-top: 0px; height: 30px; width: 810px; border: solid #999999 1px; background:url(../graphics/horiznav/bg.jpg) repeat-x; } div#navbar2 ul { margin: 0px; padding: 0px; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10px;; color: #FFF; line-height: 30px; white-space: nowrap; } div#navbar2 li { display:inline; list-style-type: none; } div#navbar2 li a { text-decoration: none; padding: 7px 10px;; color: #FFF; } div#navbar2 li a:link { color: #FFF: } div#navbar2 li a:visited { color: #CCC; } div#navbar2 li a:hover { color: #000; background:url(../graphics/horiznav/hover.jpg) repeat-x; with some assistance, I found one code error and removed it, but now they want a second level navigation. a horizontal drop down. I just need a little assist on the appropriate css code for the second level. From my reading i think I have to just duplicate the code and add a ul to the duplicate (of course, if that was it, i wouldnt be here). Please a little assist. From my reading, it should be straight forward, i just cand make it work. Similar TutorialsHi guys, Nearly ditched tables for good! Just got the last bits too do. Only problem is the length of the sidebars, can anyone explain how to make them go all the way down to the footer bar all the time? The right hand bar now goes down but only because it is full of line breaks, and as a perfectionist, i would like to ditch this and use CSS!!! Also, it goes all topsey-turvey in firefox, so if someone could explain why so I can fix it? CSS below, output of whole site is at http://www.generating-sets.com/index.new.php Note that the links on there currently revert back to the old style until the layout is fixed i can't make it fully live. its been fun trying to get it to all work with CSS, its looks better than tables too!
