CSS - Title Problems
Excuse me, I'm currently designing a website (Freelance) and I would like to know how to change the color of the title.
I would like to have the Title a different color. I would like to know if I could change it to get the title a different color than the Box so it will stand out more. If I set their "top" property to 0, they fit the page perfectly but I need them below the title banner. Is there a way to make the 100% height value of these two columns relative to the fixed height of the title banner? Note: One solution was to set their "bottom" properties to 0px. This does not work in IE so it's not a valid option. Also, I do not have the option of setting the navigation's and content's divs to a "top" value of 0 and rasing the title banner's z-index to cover them as I need the overflow scroll bars to extend from the bottom of the title banner to the bottom of the page and not from the top of the page to the bottom of the page. I'd appreciate any links you can share as well. All of the tutorials I've seen for 100% high pages do not include a horizontal, fixed-height banner across the top. I need to get the data/decription for the title which are stored in a database using mouse over or click.Any Idea?How to? The problem is the standard code that governs the post title also governs the forum title (pictured below) in forum view. I need to get rid of this title (circled) in order to reduce some of the space between the header and the main title bar. But if I comment out this title, I also comment out the post title. According to the guy who was helping me, the only way around this is to create a new class, which is beyond his expertise -- and way beyond mine. I am developing a web site, panopticinsight dot com. The header/banner looks fine in Firefox. In IE7 and Opera, the H2 subtitle is left aligned over the globe image. I would prefer if the following weren't printed. 1) Top Left - Page Title (I know I can have this disappear by having a blank title, but I would prefer to have one) 2) Top Right - Page URL 3) Bottom Left - Page number (ex: 1 of 2) 4) Bottom Right - Date Is there any way to print the list without these? thanks in advance for any help. I am working on a website that was not planned out by me, but requires that a DHTML menu drop down over a Flash object. I have very little experience with this situation. I have been able to make the menus work almost perfectly within a PC environment (Internet Explorer, Netscape, Firefox). I don't have a MAC, but after viewing the page on a friend's MAC noticed that the menu does not show up in Internet Explorer, and drops down below the flash in Safari and Mozilla.
