CSS - Help With Hover And Submit Form
I have a form which includes an image as the submit button. I am trying to get the submit button to perform a hover effect but I don't know if I am wasting my time because it may be impossible. This is what I have so far:

I would really appreciate it if anyone is able to help me stomp out this bug. Bug description: After text has been entered into the form, the form will then close prematurely when the cursor is moved over the fields (specifically, while crossing the tiny gap between the fields). Recipe to reproduce bug: 1. Hover the link to reveal the form, and fill the fields with text. 2. Close the form by moving the mouse off of the form. 3. Mouse back onto the link and move the cursor continuously over the text fields. If you're in IE7/8 then the form will seem to suddenly close at random. Please let me know if any further information is required. I have form located below the google map on this page - http://www.hometowntrans.com/map_hours.asp I want to style it such that it has a 3d look to it if you will, with a gray background and black text. I'm trying to adjust the left and right padding in a form submit button (to fake a normal-looking link so I can use the form to pass php variables w/ $_POST instead of $_GET)... I've put the padding-left:0em; everywhere I can think of, can't seem to influence the submit button padding. Does anyone know anything about this one? Tricky... Basically when the "submit" button is pressed, the form is being submitted to it's destination. The page will hang on the form until the next page is ready to load. While it's hanging there after submitting, I'd like the screen to fade out, and display an image in the center of the screen. I'm hoping this can be achieved with CSS, as I try to use as little Javascript as possible. What's the best way to achieve this? I figure if anything a javascript "onsubmit" function will be a good start. Can the screen be faded with CSS? I have two images, A and B. When I hover over image A, B appears over A, where B is at 25% opacity. If I wanted to make B appear after A, I would use this: Code: .imageA:hover:after{

How do I make B appear on top of A or underneath it? Thanks, Andy I know this has been discussed loads. And I have read a tonne of articles telling people it cannot be done in pure CSS. But I wanted a little clarification. I want a hover: over a <tr>. Now Im not fussed if it doesn't work in IE5/6 even 7 (although obviously it would be nice!) its a little feature to help users. My app is internal, so as long as the CSS doesn't break the page, then IE users just wont get the hover, while others will. When I hover over the first cell, the top and bottom borders turns black but not the left, and all the right borders disappear. When I hover over the other cells, only the bottom border turns black. What I am trying to accomplish is when a table cell is moused over, the top, bottom, and left border of that cell turns from gray to black and the right border which is currently black turns white. I can do a change to: #menu ul li:hover, #menu ul a:hover { background: red; color: white; } but the anchor won't change color on the li:hover, so it looks red on red. i have 2 divs div1 and div2 there is an image in div2 and there is a link in div1, by default the image in div2 is hidden and i have used #div2 img{ visibility: hidden; // also i tried display: none; } when i move the mouse over the link in div1 i want the image in div2 to appear following is my code #div1 a:hover #div2 img1{ visibility: hidden; or display: none; } the image in div2 is not appearing without using javascript or jquery can this simple effect be done by using css code can someone tell me the correct syntax to show the image please advice. thanks I have the following css Code: #navigation li {

Hi guys, Was wondering if you could tell me where I'm going wrong with this. Basically I have used the class "WhiteBoldLinks" on some text BUT when the mouse goes over the link I cant get the underline and text colour to work which is assigned to the class "#WhiteBoldLinks a:hover" . How do I use this? Or have I coded it wrong?
