Hi there,

I have set up some scollbar colours for IE. I have some scrollable divs that are using the css, but the main scrollbar to the right of the browser does not have the css applied to it.

This is my css:

Hi all,

I've got problm in css Listbox properties,

I put list box within a normal html .. and there are 3 option to list like this..,
1.name
2.Address of a person
3.Phone no: resident

so i give width=80px; in css and it will show the list box width correctly. but drop down part also the same width . so i want to expand the width as when we entered option text width.

how can i achieve this ?

Hi All...

New to CSS, forgive my ignorence...

I have started using CSS to assign classes to form elements, this works fine with input boxes but has no effect when assigning the same class to a dropdown listbox "<select>" - no change is apparrent in their appearance...

Can anyone help please? Is this anything to do with 'contextual selectors'? If so how can I perform what i want to do?

hello guys! i have a form that contains a listbox, and am using IE6, and i put up a link to my external css file, but the appearance of listbox scroll bars didn't change, only the size of the font was changed, do i am missing something? or this is not possible to change the appearance of scrollbars for the listbox?

Iframe Scrollbar Using Css

I've searched the web hi and low yet I have not found any answers.

I am using an iframe (it's a love-hate relationship) for my website. I have my index page loaded up with a flash .swf which influences the iframe to switch pages when the user clicks on any of the provided links.

*PROBLEM*
One of my links consists of a blogger- formulated with 'cryptic blogger code' which I have no intention on learning- just working around. However, no matter how hard I try and mess around with the blogger page's html code, I cannot get rid of the x-axis scrollbar- it appears when it is not needed at all and I am unsure of doing anymore messing around for fear of messing up the code. I've also tried adjusting the actual iframe script but still no results. Please- if any html/css demi-gods/goddesses can help me get rid the the iframe's horizontal scrollbar BUT keep the vertical one, you'll be my best friend :P

How To Get Rid Of This Horizontal Scrollbar?

In the html below (see also http://www.creatief-denken.be/opl47k.html) I have in IE a horizontal scrollbar and a vertical scrollbar. In the #contentRight div I use the command "overflow: auto" in order to let the text scroll vertically. I want to get rid of the horziontal scrollbar but I don't want to use the command "overflow-x: none" and "overflow-y: auto", because then the vertically scrolling disappears completely on a MAC (OSX). I have tried already in many ways (change the width of the div's) to let the horizontal scrollbar disappear but it doesn't work. Is there an easy way to get rid of this horizontalscrollbar?

However, I want a little more customization. Basically, the only thing I want to show is the actual bar in the middle that scrolls up and down. Nothing else. So, what I want to do is make everything else the normal color of the page, and make the bar in the middle a light color.

The only problem is, the function scrollbar-face-color edits the bar itself, AND the arrow boxes above and below it. Is there are a more specific function to edit just the bar only?

Hello every one, Am sameer pandurangi and new to web development. I wanted to create a css for SCROLLBAR with rounded corners . Actually i dont know if there is any such property for this in scroll bar. Am able to change the color through css but am not getting the rounded corners for that.
So i hope there is someone out there with some good idea.

Hi all !

I got this problem with my scrollbar.

as you can see on http://antwerpfashionagency.com/immo/ in the section AANBOD , my scrollbar works wonderfull.

Now when i do this in the section IK ZOEK , my scrollbar doesn't align well. in firefox i get a scrollbar from firefox itself .

Can someone tell me what the prob is??
