When i apply a fade it fades what ever is on top of it. example: go to pounce dot com and go under the sign up part and thats what i want to do. I want to have the background of my web page fade from one colour to another (vertically). Would it be possible to do this with CSS, and without images? Thanks. Hey Gang, Im currently working on this website: www.easy506th.org And if you view it in IE the image fade shows up. View it in Moz/FF the images show up as...well blocks (cant really describe it any better ) without the fade. My reference in HTML <td><img src="images/horcell.jpg" width="77" height="30" class="imagefadehorz"></td> My CSS .imagefadehorz { filter: Alpha(Opacity=100, FinishOpacity=0, Style=1, StartX=0, StartY=100, FinishX=100, FinishY=100); } I beleive my CSS may be the problem...any help is appreciated. Size I have just recently started looking at using CSS coding. Question: Is there a way to write CSS code ONLY to allow images to fade in from one image to another on a web page? I know that this can be done using other coding, but I would like to know if this can be performed strictly using CSS code. If this can be performed in CSS code only, can you send me the code? Thanks in Advance..... Hi all, newbie here. I have an image I want to use as a background. I want this image to slowly fade to black at the bottom (or blue, or green, or whatever, to be decided later). Can I do this in pure CSS? To be more specific, the image is a relatively small one in the middle of the page, and will fade to black which will continue down the page. Do I need to use javascript/jQuery to do this? Because I'd rather not, I'm not familiar with them and it will probably be too much effort. I have tried making the image transparent and having a background gradient white to black behind it, but that doesn't look right (obviously, since I need 0% transparency of the image at the top and 100% at the bottom). Thanks for any and all help! Hi Guys, I'm building some forms, and when they are submitted, I'd like to integrate a method that will fade out the screen a bit, and show an animated "processing" .gif. Basically when the "submit" button is pressed, the form is being submitted to it's destination. The page will hang on the form until the next page is ready to load. While it's hanging there after submitting, I'd like the screen to fade out, and display an image in the center of the screen. I'm hoping this can be achieved with CSS, as I try to use as little Javascript as possible. What's the best way to achieve this? I figure if anything a javascript "onsubmit" function will be a good start. Can the screen be faded with CSS? |
