So right now I'm just using 2 different versions for the site which is a pain in the ass, but the one thing that screws up everything is the navigations table right under the banner. But I don't want to remove it...(if I do everything works fine, ) Anyone know how to fix this? THANK YOU HTML PEOPLE Hi, I payed a designer to create a basic layout for my website.. originally it was fine but when I integrate my PHP the design faces problems. This image illustrates the problem, you can see that the page when viewed in Firefox has a simple but annoying problem. Every 10 topics the separation line disappears and is replaced by a white gap. The annoying thing is that I have opened this page on Firefox on two other computers and it works fine. I can't distinguish why it doesn't work on my computer. I disabled FF addons, reset all of the settings to default and it still doesn't work! The other computers are both running the same version of Firefox, 3.5. Here is the source code for the index page and all relevant CSS files, I am sure this is a very simple problem - if someone could point it out this would be very much appreciated. Source code for index.html Source code for style.css I have been trying to find the solution to this problem for three hours, !! Warm regards. Hi i dont know if these 3 things are possible but if they are can someone help me with the coding for them 1. basically im setting out a client feedback form and i will be asking them to fill in there name position and the job that refers to them here is my current coding for it <p align=center> <form method="post" action=""> <textarea name="comments" cols="75" rows="2"> there name is entered here </textarea><br> </form> <form method="post" action=""> <textarea name="comments" cols="75" rows="2"> There position is entered here </textarea><br> </form> <textarea name="comments" cols="75" READONLY> The job relating to them is entered here </textarea><br> now the name and position bit is ok but is it possible to make the job relating to them a textbox which automatically submits there email address when clicked submit 2. i need help setting up the submit button so that when clicked it will record all answers on the form so when it comes back to us depending on what radio button they clicked we would see it like this Question 1: Excellent Question 2: Poor Question 3: good 3. also im not sure how i would do the submit button itself so it would open there email client and have the form as an attachment or in text space with there email address i was told about formmail script but as im a novice html user i dont have a clue about that as for whether it is PHP or ASP i got this from the 1&1 official website maybe it will make more sense to you ______________________________________________________________________________________________ "Is Perl or PHP Available on Microsoft Servers? No, Microsoft Hosting Plaftform does not support PHP or Perl currently. You have to use .asp for scripting." "Can I run PHP3 and PHP4 Concurrently? No, after the upgrade to PHP4 on 22 November 2007, PHP3 will no longer be available and the .php3 extension will no longer be recognised by 1&1 web servers. Currently, the default is PHP4 on 1&1 servers, but you can set your scripts to be parsed by PHP4 or PHP5. These are the PHP versions currently supported." ______________________________________________________________________________________________ PLEASE HELP!!! Thanks alot Robert Jones I would like to have an image that takes 2 url like the following image... is it possible? if so, can someone please tell me how this could be done? Thank you very much.. Okay, I know that this problem is going to be really really easy, but I forgot how to do it. I use to own an older website and forgot the code. Anyways, I only know how to describe it. When I minimize the screen, it is minimizing the whole thing and collapsing it making the iframes smaller and the text fit into a smaller space. Most websites have a code (i don't know what it is) so that when someone minimizes their browser, it just makes the browser smaller and not the actual page. Here's what it looks like: http://www.freewebs.com/noeylani94/index.htm Try minimizing that and see how it looks. It collapses the whole page right? Can someone tell me the code how to fix it? Thanks =D Hello people. having a problem with my website in IE 6.0. http://sw11.it/devdev/ it puts a blue bar accross the header? Please can somebody help! Thanks I am working on a website for work and thought it was all kosher and ready to go. I sent it to our VP and he came back and said that things looked a little wonky. Having tested it in both IE and FF, I was shocked. However, he has IE 7.0 and for some reason it's all over the place when using that version. Here is the website: http://www.mtesc.org Any help would be greatly appreciated as the problem needs to be fixed and I cannot figure out what to do to fix it! I just started learning Dreamweaver, (which is what I used to create this site) and I am familiar with some html/css but not enough at this point to fix this problem. Thanks in advance for any help!!!! Hi Could some one please have a look at the code for this site for me as it displays perfectly in IE6/7 but is so far off the mark in firefox, not tried any others. http://www.scottishconsumercredit.com/_dev_colin I can't see where I am going wrong thanks heres the problem the pages http://wax-bar.ca/about/index.html and http://wax-bar.ca/contact/index.html wont work in internet explorer. The rest of the website works just those two pages dont work. I would reallly appreciate any help you can provide. thanks in advance! Hello, I am fairly new to web programming, and I have taken over the web administration at my work. The page I am working with is an absolute mess, but I have one bug that I just cannot figure out for the life of me. It is an overlap problem, where one of the tables overlaps the one to the right of it, even though there doesn't seem to be anything "pushing" it out further, like unwrappable text or anything like that. It only occurs in IE/Win, I have viewed in both versions 6 and 7. If anyone could give me any suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it.
