HTML - Html Counters
Hey guys, I'm pretty new to coding and I'm entering my 2nd semester of web design classes in college (I just coded my first website this past semester, pretty basic html/css). Just recently, I got offered to do a website for a client. When I had my first meeting with him today, he asked if there was a way to make a counter for everytime someone booked an appointment with him. So basically, he doesn't need to count the amount of people that visits the site, but to count how many people actually use it. He's having me input a text field code for people to fill out and book appointments via email. So he wants to have a counter to count the people you use the appointment feature on the site. Is it possible to do this? Any feedback would be nice. Thanks!
Similar TutorialsI, for some reason, cannot find hit counters on Expression Web, does anyone know where they are? or know an easy coding for them? also if I am using frames for my website, would is there a specific frame i should put it in, or would the main part (rather than the banner or contents part) be best? A customer of ours wants to track traffic on his website through a counter. I'm pretty sure he doesn't require all the GoogleAnalytics and AWstats features... just a counter that people who view his website won't be able to see. Is there such coding? So that when ever a visitor visits the website I want the counter to increase say from 101 to 102 and then for a new visitor it should be 103 and then again for the next visitor 104 and so on..... But now I noticed that when my pages pull up in the search engines like Google, Yahoo, and MSN. They still show the old .HTML links?? When they click on the webpages from the search engines results you get error 404 page cannot be found. Hi everyone, I've been searching around the web trying to find out how I can send using Outlook a html and text email newsletter automatically. I am quite happy creating html only newsletters, and text ones for that matter, but I have been digging and believe that by using multi-part code I can send to both and the recipients email client "allows" whichever version to be displayed - does this sound right? I'm hoping to simply create the html with the relevent mime references and boundaries (dont know what they are but have seen them on enough Google'd pages to know that they mean something!) and then copy and paste into Outlook - the newsletter is only going out to a few people at a time. Any suggestions or advice would be very greatly appreciated. Regards Allan Hi, so I'm trying to make this e-mail newsletter. It's entirely images, tables and text. So no javascript, just plain stuff. I tried attaching it as a signiture file and I had trouble sending it. It also didn't come out right. I'm trying to avoid using a software. Its basically just a block of HTML I need to show up as the only content in an email. If you just put HTML into a email text field, it just shows the HTML code in the email as text. Any ideas? As the title states I've been using Microsoft Word 2000 to create my web page but now want to make a simple no frills html HTML document. Is there a simple and quick way to do it ? I know I can simply create a new HTML document and then just copy and paste the links but is there a utility that can do this ? Wow ever I need to change the information in one table every few days. The information is live I think it's called. It's like if I place google adsense in that table and decide to change it to ad-clicks later, I can't send everyone a new template, I need to be able to change just the information within that table. My site is hosted on a windows server (godaddy,) and I do not have access to IIS manager and the windows server does not do php.
