HTML - Text Field Data In Hyperlink
Hello,
I am making a check-in on my site. People have a number they recieve, what I want to do with this number is make a texfield and when the clicker presses Go! it does: http://www.cloudvairlines.com/index....redintextfield If anyone could make a code for this I would really really appreciate it. I have already tried some but none of them work! Similar TutorialsI have three user input text boxes called; "name", "email" and "phone" and one text field to display that information called; "feedback". When a "Submit" button is clicked, the three text boxes are validated to check that what was typed inside them was OK. I then want to display the Users' name, email and phone number on individual lines in the text field, for example, name on line 1, email on line 2 and phone number on line 3. At the minute when I submit the information only the phone number displays on the first line of the text box. In the text field "feedback"; I know the HTML probably interprets my code as; the name is being replaced by the email and then the email is being replaced by the phone number. Thanks in advance. I know this can be done easily by JavaScript or CSS, but want to to keep it as simple as possible and without security warnings. Thanks P&P In restyling my website, I've decided to use more icons for links than I previously have done. However, rather than have text above each icon to explain what it does, i'd rather have a tooltip type alternate text feature that describes the link as the user hovers over it. Problem is, I can't get it to work. Is there something wrong with my code or could it be my browser settings? I have been linking to certain .jsp web pages , and pre-entering the data into the page by putting a "?" after the .jsp part and following it with some code. By using the URL http://logis.korail.go.kr/driveinfo/...jsp?carNo=7001 I don't need to type the number 7001 in the form and press the submit button. This works fine on this page, however, for the following page, http://logis.korail.go.kr/driveinfo/...riveGuideg.jsp, I can't seem to get this method to work. What I read from the input field, as soon as I press the "Save results" the value of the input field should be passed within the function. Is there a way to put that username in a text box on the html page for submission later? I have a website where I upload a lot of articles that usually come in Word format, and instead of converting that to html (usually by hand because Word does not convert to xhtml transitional) I would much rather just use an enhanced text field and copy and paste it, then in the background I would have the code that would insert the articles to my database and create the pages and links for them. I just need code for the enhanced form. Everything I have found so far is entire bulletin board systems, which I do not need. Thanks I'm a beginner studying HTML. One item that I cannot find out how to do is to put a design behind the images/text in a regular text field. For instance, if I was on a social networking site and typed about myself in a specific box on my profile. Is it possible to embed or modify my text to have a custom design in its backdrop with something such as a specific code that I may add in? I have a web page that I had to convert from a .psd file to an html and I'm not able to center a submit button and the text field next to it. I've tried various alignments but I'm also limited by what I can do because when you convert from .psd to html the entire page is one form. I don't have an external link but I'm able to provide html if necessary. Can someone please take a look at my code and offer some suggestions? Thank you Doug |
