HTML - Button Light Up On Current Page

could anyone plz tell me, how to open window popup in current html page ( that means not in different window) without statusbar,locationbar,titlebar and menubar and scrollbar.

I want to display the current page URL in an input box, so users can copy the url from the input box rather than from the adress bar. Kinda like this:

I've seen a code that can display the URL, but it displays as regular text, rather than inside an input box.

Secondly, I was wondering if the same thing could be done(in an input box), but
the url will be displayed inside of a link- like this:

Dear colleagues,
I'm new in Web design and I don't know all HTML reference.

I need one HTML statement to include into a page code, that allow to obtain the file name (like "pagename.html") of the page I load into the browser.
This value of "pagename.html" I will use to load in a variable.

For example:
When I load "home.html", I need that this page have a HTML statement that detect its own filename "home.html".
Once detected, I will use this value in a variable.

I hope I'm explaining clearly.

I have need to include a button in a SharePoint page that will refresh that page, but strip out everyting after the .aspx in the URL (meaning "?blablabla"). I know the simple code <a href="#">click me</a> will load the current page. But is there a code that will strip out everything after the "?" portion?

I got a question tht puzzeled me whole day and i dont know how to solve,Can you please help me? My main page is at /usr/local/share/HT/html/server/index.html. Now that inside my main page i want to do a link by a button click to the another page, say page 8. page 8 is at /data/website. But whenever i tyr to click on tht button, it says "PAge not found"

Hello all,

I am looking to see if there is a simple way to provide a print button for static Text and/or images within a simple table. The content will not change, so I want to see if I can provide a programmed print button for the content within each table. The application is a FAQ page of a website. Currently, the page is long and printing a particular FAQ item is not possible.

Expecting the viewers to be web-savvy enough to know how to print selected text is out of the question, as well as providing them this tip in writing. There needs to be a print button.

I use Dreamweaver MX '04 to edit page html.

Hello, I'm experiencing a small but annoying problem.

My html form works fine when the submit button is an "ugly grey button" (input type=button), but when I try changing the button to show a nice jpg (input type=image) the form still submits ok, but the page always jumps to the top.

This is annoying, because people should be able to scroll down through the page, click the button, and continue scrolling down to the next button.

I'm trying to use submit buttons to display different websites in an iframe (or maybe I could use css?)

What I'm basically trying to do is display different SQL databases when you click different buttons. So the code in the website in the iframe will just display the database.

I am trying to copy a page over to my domain (with permission) and even though it looks ok, the submit buttons / field areas are not working properly. Here is the page I am trying to get working.

I have grabbed the appropriate .js files and everything in MY header is fine, but like I said.. I can not get the buttons to actually take the data from the fields and spit out the code in the box provided.

how can i upload a file and when i click the submit button i go automatically to other web page. I am using some code that uploads the file perfectly, but i can't get a way to go to other page when i click the submit button. If someone can help me giving me an example of how to do that, or tell me what to change in my code i'll appreciate any kind of help.
