HTML - Flash, Apple Mobile, And Ineptitude

I'm trying to play an swf unless the OS is unable (eg iphone, ipod, ipad) in which case I'd want a mp4 to play. which plays the swf fine on my pcs and the mp4 fine on my Iphone, but the fella I'm doing this for insists it is not working on his ipad which is really the reason I'm adding the mp4s in the first place. I uploaded it and then went to show a friend on my Iphone and waddya know, it doesn't display properly. For some reason the background image tiles 4 times. And this goes for Iphone, Ipad, and Ipod. There are parts of the site that use flash so It's not optimised for Iwhatevers anyway, but I'd definately like to sort out this "first impression" problem. The site is an adult site (Don't worry there is nothing more than sexy images to be seen. no genitalia or anything). It's www.xturnmeonx.com Any ideas peeps. I get the impressions that td height= 100% messes with a lot of web designers. I am one of them. Someone please help me with my problem, or at least point me towards a resource that discusses this issue. Both of my files work fine on my PC in both IE and Netscape. However, they mess up on certain Apple browsers. I think Safari is one that they mess up on. Can anyone help me to make sure the flash displays right? what happens is the player loader displays at the top instead of the center and the control buttons are present before it loads. then after the loader fails it shows a "cannot connect" error. so I think the flash object is resizing inside its self. can anyone help me clean up this script so it will display correctly in iPhone safari (with flash enabled)? website is he smalldotdesign.zxq.net/iSwim.html that is where the HTML file is located that I am trying to get corrected. thanks in advance. i have a feeling this is going to be a tough fix. I use a free service for redirecting people to my mobile site, but there service is down for last 6 days or something got wrong. Anyway I decided to use .htaccess rewrite to redirect them to mobile site. The first step is to browse your way over to: http://www.handsetdetection.com/ We hope that this will represent one of the first steps in solving the mobile and web crossover issues which website owners and developers face when people view the site from any device other than a normal computer (I-phone / Balckberry / PDA). Once connected to our service, when someone visits your site, a live request is sent to us, and we return a result back to you on a live basis with details of the device, screen size, GEOIP, make, model and many other fields of information. From that point, you can do one of two things: 1. So...I recently designed a website for a friend working off a nice little template to save time. Everything looks great and operates exactly how they requested on a desktop browser. However, the images become vertically stretched when viewing on a mobile device pretty severely. I'm confused because it's only the photos, other graphics (also jpegs) do not become distorted.
