Hi, i did not find forum for xml, so i will post my problem here. I am unsuccessfully trying to select the tag from document's tree to execute xpath querries from it (for example child::tag_name (this should return all child tags with given name)). Any tips how to select that tag?
Thanks in advance Similar TutorialsHello Everyone, I am new in the HTML world and I need some assistance on a website that I am working with. I have a home page, then I have an items page, then I have a Detaill page. Whenm I click on the first item, it takes me to the Detail page whe it gives me detail information and the picture of the item. In the Detail page I have a default picture with the detail information. The problem that I have is that when I am in the items page and select a different item, it does take me to my detail page, but the item under the detail page doesn't change. Like I mention befoe I am new in Web pages I am very thankful for your help BK I need to display a web form from which the user can select a directory -- not a file. This seems like it ought to be easy, but I can't find an explanation of how to do it. Here's the code I wrote (with a little PHP removed): Code: <form enctype="multipart/form-data" action="ImportExec.php" method="GET" > Select the <em>directory</em> containing .eml files.<br><br> <input type="file" name=directoryPath> <input type="hidden" name="scriptPath" value="xxxxxxxx"> <input type="hidden" name="domain" value="yyyyyyyy"> <input type="submit" value="Open directory"> </form> As it is, this lets me choose a file -- not a directory. If I try to select a directory, it just opens the directory and invites me to choose a file from it. I want to add a radio selector to my site...to allow people to choose what feed they would like to listen to. I have see a php mod which I could use from a phpnuke mod but I wanted it in simple html if possible. I want a drop down menu with different station names, and when you choose one it loads the relevant stream in a media applet above/below. If you go to my test page you can see what i mean: http://vivalefrench.com/tester.html But I dont see how to target the links to the media player? I bought a cheap flash script that looks good but it doesnt work with asx files, I would have open them to look for the mms file and I dont want to overstep my mark as Im using feeds from another site. Not sure if I am allowed to do such a thing. So a simple html drop down menu to choose stations would be idea. If you right click on the test page, you can view the source to see how its been put together.. There is always a solution but I havent a clue with it hi i have a group of radio buttons generated dynamically and i want to disable user changing his choice after selecting one! i want to disable the group of radios or lock the first choice somehow! apologize me for my poor eng! tanx Hello, I have absolutely no idea how HTML works, but I have a friend who's making a website, and ideally, we would have a list of websites, and when you click the "random" button, it will randomly go to one of the websites in the list. Is there a simple way of going about doing this? Thanks. Hi all. I have a page that the select box is not selecting the option when selected is put in there. Here is the code. Okay, I know that this problem is going to be really really easy, but I forgot how to do it. I use to own an older website and forgot the code. Anyways, I only know how to describe it. When I minimize the screen, it is minimizing the whole thing and collapsing it making the iframes smaller and the text fit into a smaller space. Most websites have a code (i don't know what it is) so that when someone minimizes their browser, it just makes the browser smaller and not the actual page. Here's what it looks like: http://www.freewebs.com/noeylani94/index.htm Try minimizing that and see how it looks. It collapses the whole page right? Can someone tell me the code how to fix it? Thanks =D After checking the classes I found out it was my menu class that is causing this problems. If I removed the menu class and everything in it the content lines up to the top. As soon as I put it back though the problem comes back so it is a problem with that. I am not sure how to fix this though and it seems this is only a problem with IE 6. The problem is on the page below http://www.mesquitechristmas.com/loc...play.php?id=81 Here is the CSS for the div menu that is causing the problem. #menu { clear: left; float: left; } This is the only page in the entire site that has this problem. Also if I change the tables within the content div to px instead of % I don't have this problem. Very strange, can anyone help me out with this? -Thanks Hey all, if you go to my blog http://myalternativemind.net I added this code: Code: <div id="nav"> <a href="http://link1.com">link1 title</a> | <a href="http://link2.com">link2 title</a> | <a href="http://link3.com">link3 title</a> </div> And this CSS Code: Code: div#nav { font-size: 15px; margin-top: 10px; padding: 10px; margin: -20px -20px 30px -20px; background-color: #000; } div#nav a { color: #7C7C7C; text-transform: uppercase; text-decoration: none; } But it stretched out the bottom portion of my blog, and made it unreadable. all I was trying to do was add custom links on it. Can anyone check my source and help me out? Thanks. Problem with CSS and IE -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- hello. Help? Hello, I am fairly new to web programming, and I have taken over the web administration at my work. The page I am working with is an absolute mess, but I have one bug that I just cannot figure out for the life of me. It is an overlap problem, where one of the tables overlaps the one to the right of it, even though there doesn't seem to be anything "pushing" it out further, like unwrappable text or anything like that. It only occurs in IE/Win, I have viewed in both versions 6 and 7. If anyone could give me any suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it. URL: http://www.yonasmedia.com Hello people. having a problem with my website in IE 6.0. http://sw11.it/devdev/ it puts a blue bar accross the header? Please can somebody help!
