I am working on a website and I want to have background music to my web-pages. How to add background music to pages that will play in loop. Hey, I embedded a youtube video on my site and then I tweak the youtube embed video code and added in hidden=true and &autoplay=1&loop=1. I hid the video and made it autoplay and loop, and got background sound. Works great and works both on IE and Firefox. But I'm just wondering, is it against youtube's rules to hide their videos on your site. I feared that so I took the video off. Here's what I am trying to do, I want to use an image that is about 500 pixels high for the background of my page, and then whenever the text grows past that 500 pixels I want to start tiling a different image. Right now i'm just using a table and I have the image as the background. But as expected this just tiles that image over and over again. And so far i have made a home page with a table that has links to other sections of the site. Now, i have music that plays when you open the site, however when you click on the links to go to the other parts of the website the music starts again for each page and it then becomes very irritating. What I want to try and do, is get the music to continously play while you click on the other parts of the site so it doesnt stop from the first time you enter. I know the HTML code that allows the designer (me) to play a backround .wav audio BUT it does not quite do what I need it to do what I am looking for is a code that allows me to play a .mp3 in the backround AND I am having an incredibly difficult time figuring out how to prevent the song from starting over when a person on my site clicks another link. Simply put I want a .mp3 to be playing in the backround of my website no matter where the user browses on my website and most importantly I need to have the backround .mp3 to play conintousely like I stated earlier, I don't want it to start playing from the begining when a user clicks on a link on my site.
