HTML - Just A Quick One Im Sure For Some Experienced Users Out There
Allow me to explain
First i have a site master where the header and menu has been designed when ever a user click on a seperate page the header and menu gets called and then its shown etc etc thats all perfectly fine. My issue on one of the pages i have a slideshow box, the css is all done. i have a java script which controls the slideshow but im not to sure where to put it because it says place this script between the <head> </head> on your page, but the page im on hasnt got a <head></head> only the site master has, So my my question is where can i add the script can i place it on the sitemaster and when thats called the script gets called or wont that work due to being on a different page? Can some one please tell me from the below code where to add the Java Script. The page i want to add it to is below. Hope some one can help me would be greatly appreciated. Similar TutorialsIm currently trying to edit a forum theme that is compatable with vb.3. My concern lies with the header. When i upload an image as logo.png to add to the header, the whole header tiles down the page (3 image make up the header) I would rather just a plain black image tile down the page. In Firefox, a quick way of doing this is to have them drag the weblink in their Bookmarks and drop it into a textfield within a form. They can then press submit on the form. However, this doesn't work in Internet Explorer - the user is simply redirected to the url in the bookmark. Is there a smarter way of doing this? Anyway. I write little Riddle games, basically puzzles, they are offered for free to players. All of them, up to now, have been serial, you start at level 1, solve it and that opens up level 2, etc. However I am just writing one where all the levels are open, the player can play any level. When they get the correct answer they are taken to a congraulations page. However, they have no method of seeing which levels they have completed without keeping a note of them. So I wondered if I could set up something simple, that is individual to the player, thats non controversial that wouldnt be considered phishing etc where the players can tell which levels they have completed, by using the fact they are the only ones who have visited the various level congrats pages. I can show you an example of what I mean but I dont want to put a link here in case it is considered spamming. I have my own domain, access to the server etc if I need tinstall something, but my server, cookie type knowledge is pretty much non existent. Thank you in advance for any advice you wish to give. I am making progress I just dont understand why not all my images are xed out? just wondering..I guess if i think about it for a few more minutes i'll realize the answer.. but i'm done thinking for the day question.. when you make a function why do you put variables in the () right after the function.. what purpose does it serve? whats the difference in putting them in the () vs putting them just in the function or something? I feel like i'm missing something thanks everyone I have a wordpress blog I need a little help with. In my navbar I have a link called "Dog Food Review". I want it so when people put their mouse over that link a drop down menu comes down and list my links under my Blogroll.. specifically the ones under Dog Food Reviews. |
