HTML - Space Space Link
i almost went crazy trying to troubleshoot this one... thought i'd share.

Turns out a "space" at the end of the link text pushes the text upwards slightly. Simply remove the space (or add on to the other line) or use the space code [ ] The css also plays a part, this doesn't appear happen when text is "unformatted" Similar TutorialsThis isn't merely an attempt to sound like something from "The Matrix", but I'm continuing to work on my companies website and for some reason in IE when I place a picture at a certain place the web page give me enough room to scroll the page right. I just finished my website and inserted so flash in it before I inserted the flash everything was fine after I inserted the flash a lot of space was created under it I used the layers method because I need my flash to be on top of something. But for some reason alot of extra space is created. I tried this on a different website on mine too and the same thing happened. Here is the link have a look at it. I put "The big space is here" where the space occurs. The weird thing is that if I open the file in some html editing software (frontpage), it looks fine, but once I open it in IE, the space appears. Here is the style.css file if it needs checking: HTML Code: body {

Any help is appreciated. Thank you for your time! I want to save some space by avoiding rewriting some code that connects to server and database etc. Is there a way to do this in html? I know you can do somethihng similar in java (methods at end of program or seperate from program with new 'public stat...'). Well ive just started converting one of my old sites which used tables to CSS etc and have run into a very small problem. Ive taken everything else away till i can sort this so its a little easier and clearer, the site is www.rharris28.com in IE(7) there is a small space between the first image (blue and triangle shape) meet the home image. What can I do to get rid of the spacing (I'm working in IE9). Hi, The following code works fine for me except it adds extra spaces on the top of the table. Making an editor that does not use any browsers built in html editor(they are limited and break so easily). anyway as part of this to select items I use an onclick event and this includes the letters. To get this to work each character has it's own span eg <span>o</span><span>k</span> Everything work really well except on internet explorer where a space is not being rendered eg <span>o</span><span> </span><span>k</span> appears as "ok" not "o k" I was wondering if anyone knows a way around this? or can think of another solution? At the top you can see a class called "space" which is just a height of "15px" and then the next class is table before i started using Div tags i would pf just wrote <tr><td height="15"></td></tr> so i just wanna make sure what im doing to achieve what i want is correct?
