Any idea on how I can get a table with rounded edges?

Hello everyone. I am trying to make a table based layout for my personal site, and I have run into a problem with my layout images. My issue is this: is there a way you can make the top of a table flush with the top of the page? I want it so there is no gap between the top of my table and the top of the page. I"m wondering how to get that done. I hope someone can help.

I've been having some issues with my site. It looks fine in IE but it doesn't look correct in Firefox, Opera and Safari. The tables are misaligned and I am at a total loss. Can anyone help me out. Thanks

Can someone give me a tutorial on tables please? I would very much apprieciate it. I don't really know anything on tables so please start basic. I hope to see a response soon.

I have my table all finished and everything.. it looks nice, except the fact that my words.. some of them are cut off. anyone know how to fix this? I have tried making my table smaller in width than my "div", but that still doesn't work.

when one expands it goes under or over the other i want it to push the other one across how can i do this???

I have a L shaped image that I want to put into a table as a whole rather than cut into to two oblongs.

As I am not an expert I wondered if this would mean that the space surronding the L shapped image will not be accesble when place in the table..





I want to put txt into the recess against the right angle formed by the L I think that the <td><img src="Lshape"/></td > way that the table structure works that the L will have a rectangle around it and that this will prevent things butting close to it.. is there a way around it..



Apart from cutting the L shape into two pieces and putting a table within a table

Hey, i'm trying to make a simple site, and right now i have one page with a table centered. That all works good, and when you change the size of your webpage, the table always stays centered.
My problem is i would like to do this with DIV, because CSS allows more positing control. Yet, when i put a DIV table somewhere when i change the size of my webbrowser the table just disapears off to the site instead of staying centered (even thou its not set to stay centered)

I geuss a better question would be how can i control where the table is, but keep it relitive to the size of the window? With CSS or with HTML.

Ok so you can see from my attachment what I want. I want the bottom row to be all-in-one, so I can centre (center..) the text.

But not sure how to do this.

Hey guys, Im trying to to add images to the left and right of an area on my site at:

I attached a picture to this post with red circles of where I want the images to be. The problem is, I havn't done any HTML in a long time and I tried fooling around with the code to try to get the images in those locations but couldn't do it.

Could someone please view the source of the main page and tell me what I need to add/change to get images in those two locations? Thanks a bunch to anyone who helps!

hey everyone, pretty simple question i am supposing, how do i stop the text in my tables from wrapping to fill the space inside the cell. The text in each cell flows over into a second line, and I end up getting writing that has huge spaces between each word, to try and fill out the line. I still want two lines, just normal sized spaces between words if that makes sense...

Hello everyone.

Im making a website for my company and i need a little help.

I made a table and tried to put a fixed width on it so then I could put text in it. Problem is,

-when i type with no spaces ex aaaaaaaaaaaaa the text just keeps going forever instead of dropping down to the next line

Also Ive been having some other problems

-if I zoom in to like 200% on IE my text doesnt stay centerd with the page, it stays centered with the screen

-And if I zoom in really far in Fire Fox my background stays centered with the screen instead of the page

I made the page using photoshop and exported as html to get me started so ill post the whole script. Its not a whole lot.

Hi, im relatively new to html and I need help with creating tables for making a proffesional site for a practice assignment. Iv'e attached an image of the way I would like the site to look... I also need help with one other thing, when the mouse pointer is moved over the buttons at the top id like them to display a drop down menu of sub categories.
