HTML - Myspace Friends Image Thumbnail Code
I have designed my band's myspace page (http://www.myspace.com/blindthecarrier) with custom header's and title blocks. About and members are currently the only sections with title blocks, but I would like to add a new html box with my top friends in it and remove the default friends box. I viewed the source code and now have everything working except the friend thumbnail pictures.
Any ideas on how to retrieve profile picture thumbnails from someones profile? Similar TutorialsHello everybody. First off my name's Daniel. and secondly, I need help, lol. I've been doing graphic design and layout design for bands for a few months... But have been requested be a friend to make a layout for his photography page. The code I am using is a very complex HTML code... And I have mostly figured it out (I'm proud of myself, becasuse it is completely foreign to me...but I learned it) But am still having some issues. The right column headers (About Me, Who I'd Like To Meet) are displaying, and I cannot figure out how to make them go away without blocking all of the content in my "About Me" section. Even stranger...they are displaying vertically????? and the other issue is the contact table... It WILL NOT display. I have tried it using the HTML comment table I like, and just the regular one... PLEASE!!!! Someone PLEASE help me! The layout is viewable at http://www.myspace.com/anotherdaretest so that you can View Source the code. and I can email the code to anyone who is willing to help! here my url http://www.myspace.com/come_get_cole and heres the code HTML Code: <style>.profileInfo {display:none;}</style> <style>.friendSpace {display:none;}</style> <style>.latestBlogEntry {display:none;}</style> <style>.extendedNetwork {display:none;}</style> <style>a.text, table div font a, table div div {visibility:hidden;}</style> <style>.contactTable { display: none }</style> <style> .profileInfo td td {visibility:hidden;} .profileInfo td td.text {visibility:visible;} .profileInfo td.text a img {visibility:visible;} .profileInfo .ImgOnlineNow {visibility:transparent;} </style> <p> <center> <style>.a embed, object {filter:alpha(opacity=0.1); Currently i have the image pushed to the left, but i can get it centered horizontally with the code Code: background-position: 200px 0px; but vertically im having a bit of trouble. heres an image of what im seeing. http://img409.imageshack.us/img409/1851/img1wz6.jpg the words on the right are suppose to read "Echoes From Malta" however the "ta" in "malta" is cut off the bottom of the page. thats what the problem is from my end of the picture. from my friends view, who is on a smaller screen (i dont know the size) sees the image as being to big for the screen compared to me seeing it so small. so in short, how can i get the image to fit the screen correctly for me, and get it to scale appropriately for viewers varying resolutions. thx for your help Hello, I am making a squad list for my football team and i have created a table containing all the information; squad number, name , position etc. In the last column i want to have it so there is a blank field or a field with a ver small thumbnail in and when the cursor hovers over this an image appears, but only whilst the cursor is over that small part. hope this make sense Is there a html code for a thumbnail that makes the target image return to the thumb when it is clicked without it being in its own html document? Hi to All of friends I recently started a my space page for a jewelry company that I recently started in georgia. I am currently enrolled in college in atlanta and I wanted to give my myspace page a more professional look something similar to this page ---> http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm...ndid=153572741 I am not very good with html or css but I recently bought a book called Creating Web Pages by Master Visually so I do unerstand the basics of web design. I am looking for anyone that can assist me with this my myspace page for my jewelry company is myspace.com/k3jewelry Any help any of you may be able to give mw will be greatly appreciated Thank you I want to get the ubetoo.com external media player to play automatically when my myspace page loads. Can someone please help me. Thanks hi! i made a div overlay template for my myspace site - and up to now it is working pretty fine. there is just one problem: it covers the myspace ad on top of the page! though it looks good this way, i am aware of the fact that this is against the myspace regulations - can someone take a look at the html fragments and might tell me how to get the ads back on the site!? http://www.myspace.com/house_of_d_addict thanks! (html code: see next post!) Hi everyone im new to this forum and this whole HTML thing all toghether im very novice at it. I designed a layout for my myspace page which I did thru alot of trial and error .. after getting everything right on IE and FF or so I "thought" I did it seems that when ever someone else views my page everything is out of place.. so apperantely my design/coding isnt very cross browser friendly.. can anyone view my page and tell me what I can maybe do to make my layout show up right on everyones Monitor using FF IE or safari.. is there anything I could do to ensure a better result when some one else views my design? please help a newbie out.. heres my page link hhtp://www.myspace.com/damebeatz I've been through a few sites about redirecting traffic from your MySpace to another site, but I'm not sure how it really works. I know there is some flash involved but I also know that MySpace dissallowed some flash code on the site. What can I do here? Here is the site: http://www.myspace.com/wipingoutthousands Here is the code I am using: <style> body { margin-top: 370px; } </style> <style> div.topbanner { position: absolute; top: 1%; left: 53.95%; width: 800px; margin-left: -450px; height: 193px; } </style> <div class="topbanner"> <img src="http://www.thenewmonarchs.com/images/wot/Wolves_Cover_Web.jpg"><br> </div> --------------------------- Now, I want that banner to line up with the myspace menu bar no matter how wide the browser is stretched. With those settings, the banner lines up perfectly when viewed on my Powerbook G4. But now, on my new iMac with a wider screen resolution, the further or shorter the browser is stretched, that banner seems to be too elastic and does not stay perfectly above the menu bar. How can I fix this? Thanks in advance. I'm trying to figure out how I would go about coding some features in sites like www.maxadds.com The biggest problem I'm having is trying to figure out the login. There's a login box where you enter your myspace friend ID. When you type it in, your myspace display picture is automatically added into a part of the website, usually the 'free train'. The picture also links to your myspace page so others can add you. I'm not sure how to go about doing any of this, so if anyone could help I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks Someone asked me if I could make them graphic images and then do the coding for there myspace layout. Here's a layout they gave me to kinda get the feel they was wanting. http://www.myspace.com/SiNGiNDiVA Now I was wondering if it was possible to just use like 2 or 3 images if not just 1 to do this...instead of like the 30 they have here. Also I dont wanna like take the coding they are using word 4 word or whatever...but I dunno how to do it other wise and was wondering if someone could tell me how to do this. -Thanks for the help I hate how MySpace comments don't fill up the entire width of the profile, so does anyone know (or help me with) a code that will stretch the comments across the entire profile? http://img389.imageshack.us/img389/9138/addfbl8.jpg This is the image of my display name. I want to know how to move the text to the top of that gray line. here is the code i have for the nametext. .nametext { font-family:arial; font-size: 30px; letter-spacing:-2px; color:ff0000; ; background-color:e5e5e5; display:block; padding: 0px; margin-top:15px; margin-bottom:-3px; line-height: 10px; text-align: right; } please help thanks Under the part where it has ur marital status and such, they give you like 5 choices, I was wondering if it's possible to change it so it says what I want it to say |
