HTML - Code For Model Window
Can any one give me the HTML code for model window?
Similar TutorialsOn the website I am currently making, there are buttons that lead to other parts of the site, like from Home to Picture Gallery to Contact Us, etc. When you click on one of these buttons it opens up a new window. The question: How can one click on one of those, but it stay in the same window? Is there a code? [I dont want it to open up a new window when going to a different section of the site] Thank you! Basically, I have a webpage which is going to have lots of small clickable images on it, and each image is going to be linked to bring up a pop up window that opens up full screen (without scroll bars, no searchbar, etc, just a window thats resizeable), which will have the image click on as a larger view. I know this is javascript coding, but each time I found solutions across the net, it was usually only for if the page had one image that was going to be made larger. If you click on this site, this shows what I'm after (and click on one of the little images).... any ideas??? Below is code that works fine, but I wonder if someone could help so that it opens in a full size window so that they don't have to resize the pop up. Somehow I am getting a weird white space between the header and the rendered Iframe (Chart in the snap shot). An expert here on EE told me about box model bug and that it can be be fixed by DOCTYPE declaration. Luckily It got fixed but only on IE7, I want it to work on IE6. Hi All, Being a frustrated businesswoman today, I may come across as a little frazzled, and I could spend the next half an hour complaining about certain company's not adhering to standards, but I won't. The problem is this: I have a website which displays correctly in Firefox 3.6.3 but just won't display correctly in IE 7 (and I haven't even tried other flavours of IE). From searching, I understand that it is to do with the box model problem i.e., different ways of calculating box sizes depending on browsers. I have tried a variety of solutions found online but nothing seems to work. The suggestion seems to be that specifying a doctype will resolve any incompatibilities but that doesn't seem to work either. I have created a special page which I am free to 'play' around with, in an attempt to solve this but all of my attempts so far have failed. The page is at www.ashleyschoolofmotoring.co.uk/index2.html - in Firefox, this displays correctly but in IE the left index is out of position along with some other problems. I have simply tried to resolve the issue with the left index up to now. I haven't posted the code for index2 here as it can be accessed via the page itself. However, I have posted the relevant part of the css file that I am using below. If anyone can throw any light on what I need to do to get the pages to look the same, I will be forever in your debt... Hey there, We have a webpage up for car parts that we offer. Our hosting services allows us just to login under there control panel and type up hte informaiton we want, such as Price, Item Description and so on. What we are looking for is a way to allow our customers to search parts by there Make, Model and Year. Is there a way to do this? If there is, is there some tutorials out there on how to instruct a novice user on how to do this? Here is an example: http://ultrarev.com/home.php?cat=0, it is the top bar on the right. Users can input there Make, Model and year and search for parts for the vehicle. My site currently uses the above code to open popup windows. Any help would be much appreciated, David Here is the case. I have an HTML page that opens a pop-up. Within the popup I need upon click to open a new window. The code is as it should be according to all references: <a href="some url" target="_blank">text</a> Everything is ok with IE6 and IE7 - a new window is being opened. What happens in Firefox is very strange - tabs are shown and the currently opened popup becomes one of the tabs and the new window opens in a new tab of the pop-up window instead in a new normal window. Hi all, I have two html file (first.html and second.html) i called the first.html from batch Command file, then the batch file calls the second.html file. what i want is that while loading the second.html it will close the first.html using script. All I'm doing right now is writing my code in text edit, saving it as "test.html", and dragging and dropping the file onto Safari/Firefox to view my code. Once inserted into the web site code it is effective however: when clicked from a viewers perspective it engages as a 'pop-up' opposed to a new window (which is what i need). I am not yet wise in the ways of html yet but have just chosen 'blank' in DW to set that on other objects.
