HTML - Problems With Listing
Similar TutorialsI really appreciate any help with my HTML. I put together a listing on eBay in HTML with a program called Sellercore. It's an HTML what you see is what you get editing program. I don't know how to use HTML all that well so I am not sure what is causing my problem. When I load the html in my firefox browser in "preview my eBay listing" the listing looks good. When I view it in Google Chrome it is all the way to the right of the screen when it should be centered. I have had nothing but problems trying to create this template because every time I view this in my browser something is off. Everything finally looks good, other than it is not lining up. I used the HTML code of another page from someone else/ basically to get the outline/border of my project. Then I deleted everything inside, and added all my own stuff. I hope I have given you enough info as to why my listing is off center. Thanks for any help Hello i currently have a domain on godaddy. this is what it looks like mydomain.com/updates I need simple HTML code exactly like apaches to just display the files on the updates folder. Thank You. Hi, I'm trying to create my very first webpage. I've got to the final step of uploading it to my host however when I visit the URL, rather then seeing the site I've put so much work into all I see is the following- Directory Listing Denied This Virtual Directory does not allow contents to be listed. This is how I made the site, designed and made on Macromedia FIreworks 8. I then proceeded to slice the page (it's only a single page) and exported as HTML & Images. I then opened the saved HTML file in Macromedia Dreamweaver and proceeded to correct the src parts to point where I uploaded them to my host. Now, once I'd done all that, I upload the saved HTML file to my main htdocs folder via FTP and it should work? But it doesn't, it simply displays the above error message. I'm pulling my hair out, would anybody be kind enough to have a look at my HTML file point out where I am going wrong? Thanks in advance. Hi all, I'm new to these forums and would appreciate any help I can get So I've made this eBay listing and the html part of it all works fine, but eBay won't let me submit it because: "Your listing cannot contain javascript (".cookie", "cookie(", "replace(", IFRAME, META, or includes), cookies or base href." Please can someone help me edit my html to get rid of these 'contaminants'? I have a feeling that it's to do with my linked thumbnail pictures... Here's a link to the small text file for the html: http://www.mediafire.com/?dy9mkf4tbrfud34 Thanks in advance, Will. Hi, I have put together a HTML page in Dreamweaver for Mac to act as a listing page to sell on Ebay. When I copy this into the description box in Ebay the page appears well ove the Ebay boundaries. There appears to be a specific area within which your description must appear but I can't make it fit. I've tried removing the 'head' and 'body' tags as an Ebay guide says that these are automatically input for you but that then removes my page formatting, fonts, image placement, etc. Does anyone know if there is a specific code that you need to put in to your listing to make it fit the page or if there is anything else im supposed to be doing. Please help!!! Hello, Im interested in obtaining a template for an ebay listing. Something that is very well done so that I can use it and change the Headers and buttons etc etc.... Anyone have experience with this? dear all i've taught myself some very basic html to use in my ebay listings (via turbo lister). at the moment i have an image inserted into the bottom of the listing that shows my feedback and also my terms etc (i use a pic so that i can change the image, re-upload to my server and therefore update all of my listings at once if necessary - i also use other pics so i can use funky fonts). what i'd prefer is to have a tabbed pane at the bottom with tabs for each section of information, e.g. payment/postage/returns etc. and i guess the contents of each tabbed pane would have to be an image in order that i can still update and reload as above? i don't know of any other dynamic update method... i've found LOADS of info on tabbed panes but i can't fathom how to use in the context of the listing template. can anyone help? i'd be very appreciative... thanks, naomi p.s.if anyone's working in this area i wouldn't mind commissioning a whole new listing template/shop design, but not at frooition prices p.p.s. my code (don't laugh, i'm a beginner!!)

<ALIGN=CENTER>

<TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: black 1px solid; Hi there, I wonder whether anyone can help me, I am been desperately searchnig for this answer. Is there any HTML code I can use which I can insert into a webpage, that will show me the directory contents of a particular directory thats within the webserver? I have a webserver which contains a list of files, which I can browse to and view ONLY if I insert the location into a web broswer such as: http://webserver/mydocuments/ I have files that are regularly copied into this directory on my webserver, I want to keep watch on this folder everytime a new file is added. The only way I can do this now is to type in the URL HTTP://webserver/mydocuments and then keep hitting the REFRESH button on IE. Is there a way where the page will keep refreshing every minute/seconds to enable me to keep watch on added files into this location? I thought that if there is some HTML code I can insert into a say a index.html file to allow me to view directory contents, I can then insert code to keep refreshing that page. Any help with this will be appreciated. I thankyou for your help and ideas. Yours, Jameera this is my page http://web.vtc.edu/users/cjb06271/CI...nal/order.html there are several things I would like to happen. 1. the right collumn background to be where the right collumn should be(so other links in navbar) 2.The test between the roach pictures to be alligned with the top rather than bottom of pictures (so smaller windows can see) 3. When you size the window smaller than the text, a scroll bar appears, and when you scroll the background no longer exists. If I put it on auto the background will only go as far as the text does. 4. (nice but not required)The cocroachs to be alligned to the left and right of the top bar respectively, and the text in the middle. 5. (nice but not required) the right column background image is being cut in half (as does the top one if you size small enough). any way to make the images ignore the collumns? don't worry about the colors I will be changing them soon I recently bean using ssi instead of frames and i now have an issue... I do not know how to keep the menubar on the left hand side at the top... see as my page streaches it centers itself in the midle of the screen... i am using tables to create a framelike effect without the issues that frames create take a look at this and can anyone tell be why it does this in ie it look fine in firefox and safari http://nathanoconnor.co.uk/kartingchampionships/site/ thanks Hey guys I have coded my site and so far it works fine in IE7 and IE6 but IE5.1 it not center in the page the nav has moved to the top of the page. In ie the hover effect does not work, but in firefox it does! help. Let me state my problem. Under my links which is under the banner, it says My Tickets, and User it seems in Internet Explorer it shows an extra 2px border on the bottom. Something to do with the height I assume. Now in firefox there is a 10px gap in between the Ticket Deck banner and the Links Bar. Also I can't keep to get the copyright centered for some reason :s .
