I'm using IE 9. PLEASE HELP! I'm baffled. Here's the html tags for the form: <form name="guestbook" action="mailto:kjohnson@calbaptist.edu" method="post"> <p><b>First Name:</b> <input type="text" name="fname" size="25" /></p> <p><b>Last Name:</b> <input type="text" name="lname" size="35" /> </p> <p><b>Age level:</b></p> <input name="1" type="radio" value="under18" />Under 18<br/> <input name="1" type="radio" value="18-30" />18-30<br/> <input name="1" type="radio" value="31-45" />31-45<br/> <input name="1" type="radio" value="over45" />Over 45</br> <p><b>Interests (Check all that apply):</b></p> <input type="checkbox" name="sports" />Sports<br/> <input type="checkbox" name="music" />Music<br/> <input type="checkbox" name="crafts" />Crafts<br/> <p><b>Grade Status:</b></p> <select name="gradestatus"> <option> Click on your status</option> <option> High School Student</option> <option> Undergraduate Student</option> <option> Graduate Student </select> <p><b>Comments:</b></p> <textarea name="comments" rows=5 cols=50></textarea> <br /><br /> <input type="submit" name="submit" value="Submit" /> <input type="reset" name="reset" value="Reset" /> </form> Hi guys. I'm hoping someone can help me out. I'm by no means a web developer, but owning a business I tend to learn a little of everything - probably just enough to be dangerous. I'm trying to post a page that will have survey questions for all the brides that come through our boutique. The form has to be able to handle the normal form stuff - text fields, check boxes, etc. - but it also has to upload a user selected file. The idea is to get a bunch of feedback as well as a shot of the bride in her wedding gown. So, we'll have testimonials and accompanying pics. (I'm warning about copyright issues on the form). A prize will be randomly awarded to one of the survey participants at the end of the whole thing... once the promo is over. So, I've got the form pretty much done. But, I need a script that can handle the results and stores the images in such a way that I know what survey it goes with... make sense? Help me out here, I'm stuck. If it helps, I'm using IXwebhosting's linux platform. Thanks everybody! Hey yall.. I have some pdf files on my website. When a user clicks on the download link, I would like to display a web form, after they have filled out the form clicking submit will send the mail form and download the file that they have clicked on. I created the forms but cant get the text they type into the forum to save..after doing some reading, i learn that i need to use a script like php to write the form info to the text file.. Can someone please please please help me..im so tried..lol.. Any help would be greatly appreciated.. The following common code is not working in Firefox (3.0.11). It works in Safari (4.02) and IE7. When I say not working, I mean that when I click the submit button, the address does not change to the form processing url: Code: <!-- The data encoding type, enctype, MUST be specified as below --> <form enctype="multipart/form-data" action="uploader.php" method="POST"> <!-- MAX_FILE_SIZE must precede the file input field --> <input type="hidden" name="MAX_FILE_SIZE" value="30000" /> <!-- Name of input element determines name in $_FILES array --> Send this file: <input name="mp3file" type="file" /> <input type="submit" name="submit" value="Send File" /> </form> The file uploader.php does nothing, it is blank, I'm merely trying to establish communication. Once again, the code functions in IE and Safari so I dont think this is PHP related. Is there a way to put a custom graphic for the browse button in the file upload field, similar to how you can use a custom graphic for the submit button? hi everybody, I am working in a html. I defined a functiion in a html file.(first.html) I want to call that function in another html file.(second.html) How can i call that function in second.html file? give some sample code Thanks in advance.... I have a form with a number of elements. One of these elements is: <input type="image" src="https://www.paypal.com/en_US/i/btn/x-click-butcc-subscribe.gif" border="0" name="submit" alt="Make payments with PayPal - it's fast, free and secure!"> Clicking on that element makes the form submit. But if I add a similar element: <input type="image" src="https://www.paypal.com/en_US/i/btn/x-click-butcc-subscribe.gif" border="0" name="submit2" alt="Make payments with PayPal - it's fast, free and secure!"> ...clicking on that also makes the form submit. So was wondering if anyone knew what the rules were for which elements make a form submit? The format and look of the page appears to be great, but when you hit the 'submit' button on the page, the error message "Method Not Allowed: The requested method POST is not allowed for the URL /job.htm." Apparently, this site's address was recently changed and the submission action was lost somewhere in transfer. The code is below, but if anyone is willing to help, it would be greatly appreciated. THANK YOU! <FORM METHOD="POST" ACTION="http://www....job.htm"><INPUT TYPE="hidden" NAME="recipient" VALUE="email address"> <INPUT TYPE="hidden" NAME="subject" VALUE="Job Application info"><INPUT TYPE="hidden" NAME="redirect" VALUE="http://www.....thanks.htm"> Hi, I want to create a page that has a form designed to look like a form that members have to now fill out manually (eg registration for an event). When I design the html page with the form submit on it, how can I make the emailed form look like the html page that the user saw instead of just lines of data? This is so people who recieve the form via email, it will look like the original form. Thanks Jaden I would like to make simple submit form, so I made this one. But it doesn't want to work. What is wrong? Code: <form method="post" action="mailto:something@mymail.com" enctype="text/plain"> <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0"> <tr> <td width="37%"> Mailing</td> <td width="63%">list</td> </tr> <tr> <td> Name</td> <td><input type=text name=Name size=8></td> </tr> <tr> <td> E-mail</td> <td><input type=text name=E-mail size=8></td> </tr> <tr> <td align="center"><input type=submit name=Sub value=Submit></td> <td align="center"><input type=reset name=reset value=Reset></td> </tr> </table> </form> I am designing a site for avaition photos that I have taken. What I want to do is have people who have had pictures taken of their aircraft to find the pictures and discretley release them for publication. The 'hard part' is taking the aircraft registry from a submit feild and returning an apropriate result. What I want to have happen is that if the user submits a registry that I have, they are presented with a page that they can fill out their information confirming that they are who they say they are and that the photo can be released. And if they are not in my list they get a 'sorry photo(s) not found' The question is can I do this without ay scripting or a database? IE If the user has the registration, have it point to a 'submittedregistration.html' file? Thanks for your help all!! |
