HTML - #1 (permalink) How To Show The Full Resolution Image At Clicking On Thumnail
There are 5 copies of the same images are placed in a folder i.e. large(1024*768),medium(500*375),small(240*180),thu mnail(75*75),square(100*50) in size....
The following code upload number of Geocoded images(square size) when the page loads.I want when someone click on the any Geocoded image on the page ,it should show the large image(1024*768) of the same.And further click on the large image it must show again the square size image of the same. I learned flash but never learned html the right way and am struggling to make html entrance pages for my flash sites.. I know its usually the other way around. i learned flash first. ok, I have a website I made which is opened in a fixed window. the html index page says "enter here" and that button opens the fixed size window. that works fine. The problem is Im trying to learn the html and whenever i have an image on this index page, ( some graphics and the "enter here" button) it may look centered @ 1024 x768 but at a higher resolution ( 1280 x 1024) it will appear on the top left of the screen. I have been tinkering with dreamweaver but im really confused. I keep seeing all of these sites where everything looks aligned regarless of the screen setting. Im not sure if I should use tables , divs or whatever. i have my website logo as a jpg and some other graphics, and im not sure how to put it into the page so it always looks appropriate no matter what screen setting you are on. The guide is currently in word format, but is too big now and all the full size screen caps make the guide difficult to read. I had intended to re-do the guide in HTML format so it can be viewed in a browser using maybe CSS to enlarge the thumbnails on mouse rollover. This would make the guide alot smaller, more functional and easier to read. With this being a training guide though, it will also need to be printed for new staff, so my question is... Is it possible to add some HTML/Java code that will see the thumbnail images printed as the orginal sized image rather than the thumbnail itself? Many thanks Joe Hello! I've recently been setting up a tumblr for my online portfolio, and have encountered an issue that I haven't managed to resolve. I have two categories - design and photography. To add pieces of work to my portfolio, I upload an image to sum up that project. If it's just a photograph, it's fine that when it is clicked it just goes to that post through {Permalink}. But if someone clicks an image for design work, I want it to take them to a separate page with a bit more information. I've managed to get this to work with {LinkURL}. My problem is that I can only get them to work one at a time. I can either have the images redirecting to a specified page, or going to the actual post - not both, depending on the content type. I have enabled "click-through" on my design posts but this doesn't work with the above code. I have to change <a href="{Permalink}" class="box-caption"> to <a href="{LinkURL}" class="box-caption"> which obviously means that now the Permalink doesn't work. I need to display an image (size 1024x768) in IE explorer so when i hit f11 (kiosk mode) its full screen. Then I need that image to refresh every X seconds with out flickering on the screen. The file is a bmp and is about 5mb and only will be changed a few times a day by a program I wrote in Vb.net. However the first one flickers and the 2nd doesnt display in full screen. Any information or even pointing me in the right direction would help. I know almost nothing about java and html =x Hi all, Im trying to link to a section of one page from a different page. Normally it's quite simple but i am using a different linking setup and it's confusing me, i'm afraid. Basically my page setup is I have separate folders for each page, than inside those folders is an index.html page. the page url does not show the .html it only shows the folder name. This is done via my htaccess file (can't remember where i found this solution from). Any way this setup causes problems linking to sections of other pages, has anyone encountered this before, am i missing something simple? Any help is appreciated! I'm almost embarrassed to post this. The problem is, the text shows, but nothing I do gets the image as a background to show. The "images" directory is at the same level as the div's file, but I've tried the url with and without a beginning backslash. The image is just a single color, orange jpeg created in Photoshop. If you click "view image" it will open the proper image in a new menu. With the help of javascript im making a bookmark button. To show the button i use to img src to link to the correct folder/file. When i test the bookmarker on a test website it works perfectly, but it doesn't work when i copy/paste the code to the real website. I'm just curious if anyone knows how to do this. Basically what I want to do is have a series of links (lets say one, two, three, and so on) and when you click one of those links, the image below those links change to the respective link (if you click one, a picture of the number one shows up, if you click two, well you get the idea).
