Similar TutorialsHi. A total newbie here. Here's what I would like to do. I need a thick border around my text. Something like this: <table width="100%" align="center" cellspacing="20" cellpadding="50" border="1" bgcolor="#FA4305" ><tr><td bgcolor="#FFFFFF" > ....contents go here.... </td></tr></table> BUT, I need to place text inside that thick border. Actually I need it to be invisible, i.e. in the same color as border, but I guess that doesn't really matter here. Preferably, I'd like to be able to fill border vertically as well as horizontally. Thanks. I cant seem to create a border around a p tag when I have a image and text in the same p element/tag. Is this possible? Im pretty sure I have my syntax correct. Hi, I am using Dreamweaver CS3 to create a site, by default i have learnt that when you use an image as a link to another page, dreamweaver creates a coloured border around your linked image. I have since been able to get rid of this border by adding border="0" into my img tag however this now has caused my rollover not to work before clicking on the image to take you to the linked page. this is my code; any ideas how i can fix this? <td colspan="4"> <a href="About Us.html"><img src="images/About_Off.jpg" border="0" alt="About Us" name="Aboutus" width="120" height="64" id="Aboutus" onMouseOver="MM_swapImage('Image2','','images/About_On.jpg',1)" onMouseOut="MM_swapImgRestore()"></a></td> <td colspan="6"> Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm looking for a way to create a diagonal border, could be a div, table or frame. The image shown underneath here is the left part of a website, top is the menu, bottom part is a picture that should change when another page is shown. So what the result should be is that the picture should change when a button is clicked, but the menu itself shouldn't reload (because otherwise with about 10 different pictures you would need 10 menu's too, and would be a pain to change the menu then) Hi, I have been making this web site for some one using the lates version of dreamweaver. http://www.thewayoflife.co.uk/index2.htm As you can see around the whole of the site is a light blue border. The background colour of the page is set to that blue colour. I have been using the layout tables (Green and blue buttons in the layout tab) to lay out the page. However I notice to you cannot drag the table right to the edge of the page and in which case you can see the background colour alll around the sides of the page. I was wondering if you had any idea on how to get rid of this, so i could take the dark blue side bar right to the side? Regards, Glenn I'm not very experienced with html. I want to make tables with borders, but i dont like the look of

We use a Joomla platform for our website, and in the CSS code, it automatically adds a border around tables, images etc. I'm trying to go around that with html by specifying table parameters. There is a border in the middle of the table now, and I'm trying to remove the border completely. However, keep in mind I do not want to modify the CSS for all the pages.
