HTML - Embedding A Video From Myspace With Loop & Autostart?

I'm new to HTML and I'm trying to embed a video from Youtube to the page. I know that you can just copy the embed line from the youtube video site, but what I want is if I click a picture on one(left) side of the page, the video will appear on the other side(right). The page is split into two where all of the left side has a picture, and when you click it, the picture(or video) will enlarge on the right. The video itself should be embedded, not redirect me to the site.

I'm using Microsoft FrontPage. Anyone know what lines or commands on the HTML page I should put to do this?

I'm having trouble with embedding multiple videos to the same player. I'm not using asx files, but rather wmv to make a selection-list. I found a site that solved my due problem and the thing works. however!! The URL in the code refers to youtube videos, and that's great and all, but I needed 'em to link to my own media files. so I changed the URL's to those on my server, and here's the problem: when doing it offline with the files on my harddrive I can add as many files I want to without it complaining, but the second it goes online or I link to wmv files on the internet it can't seem to get a connection. It only works if I have but a single <div> entry typed. As soon as I add more the thing bugs. I even tried changing "application/x-shockwave-flash" to "application/x-mplayer2" Please!! Any solution to this?? What am I doing wrong??

I am trying to embed a .mov video that is hosted on my amazon s3 account to a website.

I use this code:

i have posted previously about issues im having but still no hope.
basically, i have some youtube videos embedded in my site.. in firefox the videos load fine, but in i.e it just shows the red x as if there is an image missing. any uideas please anyone? i have tried on my desktop and laptop with same results. please help...

I'm not sure where the best place to post this question is, so I thought I'd start here and see what I get.

There are 3 links to different videos on the page, but they all open in the same place when activated. How is this accomplished? Is it javascript? I'd like to be able to do the same thing with an audio plugin as well. Thanks.

To complicate matters, the video shows up on my computer, but when I try to see to it from the blog on another computer, it doesn't work. What code can I use to ensure it works everywhere, using the url www.lovetomuse.com/just_like_daddy

I need to create an HTML page for mobile devices that displays videos. Ideally, it needs to work with older phone browsers too, so I was hoping someone could help me with the following questions:

1. What doctype should I use (XHTML Basic 1.1?)?
2. What's the best way to embed the video in the HTML?
3. If the video can't be embedded, is it good practice to (also?) provide a link so the user can download the video to show in a separate video player application?
4. What video media type(s) are best supported in mobile devices?

NB - I will be using Java to create the HTML, so if there's a need to get any request headers, etc. then I could do that in order to provide the best output according to the device.

The video shows and plays correctly, however - the AutoStart Flase value appears be be being ignored - and the video begins playing as soon as the page loads.

Can anyone suggest why this may be?

An html noob would like some help.

I am making a html page to autorun from a CD-ROM. I would like the
browser window on the users computer to open to a fixed size.
I tried the following html inserted into the body of my code.

This works well in Internet Explorer but when I try it with Firefox 3.0.1 the script seems to make the toolbars and scrollbars be included in the size. That is, the interior of IE window displays the content at the right size (795 x 470) with no space between the content and the scroll bars etc., but the whole of the firefox browser program (toolbars, scrollbars etc shrink to 795 x 470). This makes it necessary to scroll the content in Firefox.

I would like to only use html for the solution as I am trying to keep the CD-ROM requirements to run to a minimum.

Also if there was someway to make the scroll bars and toolbars disappear from the browsers this would improve the professional look.

I am sure there is an easy answer, but I can't find it. Thanks for any help.

I mean, after video is over, is it possible to hide the video screen?

Hi everyone im new to this forum and this whole HTML thing all toghether im very novice at it. I designed a layout for my myspace page which I did thru alot of trial and error .. after getting everything right on IE and FF or so I "thought" I did it seems that when ever someone else views my page everything is out of place.. so apperantely my design/coding isnt very cross browser friendly.. can anyone view my page and tell me what I can maybe do to make my layout show up right on everyones Monitor using FF IE or safari.. is there anything I could do to ensure a better result when some one else views my design? please help a newbie out.. heres my page link hhtp://www.myspace.com/damebeatz

i made a div overlay template for my myspace site - and up to now it is working pretty fine. there is just one problem:

it covers the myspace ad on top of the page!
though it looks good this way, i am aware of the fact that this is against the myspace regulations - can someone take a look at the html fragments and might tell me how to get the ads back on the site!?
