HTML - Forwarding Username And Pw Inputs To Another Site

Hey I am a beginner website creator who is having a bit of a problem and I was Hoping that one of you geniuses out there could help me out!

I want to create a users database using mySQL for my website but I'm concerned about people hacking into the server and rearranging the data in there how ever they like. My solution to this problem is one encryption, but also limiting what characters can be put into the input fields on the page. I'm aware that there is a way to do this in PHP but because I'm more comfortable coding in HTML I was wondering if there was a way you could do that?

Hi,

I have a website who can enter html code for product descriptions with my text editor. My problem is when user entered invalid html code, (not closed tables or divs etc) my layout distorted. I will try to change text editor but the other problem is i have lots of records, so i can't repeair invalid htmls on my database. So how can i isolate user html code from to my html? I don't want to use iframe.

Any ideas?

I can add a hidden like this to my form...
Code:

But what if I want to change 197cm to 6' 5" - i.e., so it contains apostrophes and speech marks...
Code:

<input type="hidden" name="height" value="6' 5"" />

doesn't work due to
the extra speech mark, so how do I solve?

I got this form in simple html

When the user clicks the submit button the user should be directed to display.html and should display the name he entered on the form previously.

I want to upload form to a site, so that users can download the form and then fill that form and view what they entered.. To fill the form when running in local machine, you cannot have php scripts, Not all will hav ephp installed in their Pc's.That's y i want in javascript or html...

I want to know whats the script to be in display.html page to view the name entered by the user on the form page..........

So there are 3 text inputs there and 1 textarea, I need them to be the same width.

The thing that I don't get is that each input has the same CSS class giving it a width.

So why aren't my text inputs the same length as the textarea?

I'm looking at this on a Mac, it's not the same width in both FF and safari.

I am wondering if it is possible to create an INDEX.HTML to redirect to another website?

I would like it to display the redirected site, but if possible keep to the original address..

e.g.
A site named www.mysite.com, with an INDEX.HTML to redirect to www.othersite.com, which displays OTHERSITE with www.mysite.com in the address bar.

I'm trying to customize a template that has a username and password field, and I want it to be the login to my forum. Below is the code that I have, what do I need to edit?

From what I can tell from the program I'm using, this code below is the Login Box that holds the words User Name & Password and their corresponding fields.

How can I change this to keep the text and fields, but remove the box that's around them?

Hi! Please someone help me with this!! I'm updating someone else's website. I was asked to put a link on the home page to a .doc file. I uploaded the updated home page with link and the linked file to the website via Ipswitch WS-FTP.

Now, what SHOULD happen is after clicking the link, the window asking to "open" or "save to disk" should pop up. What is happening instead is that a window pops up asking for a username and password. When "Cancel" is clicked, the file opens automatically.

I am having trouble with these username/password areas.

Each browser seems to read them in a different way?
The sizes, and especially the positioning is messed up.
I coded for FF so there all works fine.

Could someone try and make sense out of this?

Hi all! I'd like to create a Username/Password form, but i dont know how to do it.

I'd like something like this:

Username: *user has to type name*
Password: *user has to type password*

ACCEPT CLEAN


I want it to work only for ONE username and ONE password.

So, if user types this correct username and password (plus ACCEPT) then the
page links you to PageCorrect.htm

If user types any kind of username and password besides the correct one (plus ACCEPT), then the page links you to PageIncorrect.htm

If user clicks on CLEAN, then the boxes have to clean.

Hello, I am making a website for my school, and just recently I was asked to make a login section for students and for parents, (to view grades and reports on there children.) Hi I have started building a site a need some help with it

1) i want to get the buttons at the top and bottom of the page to not have any space between them and the tabe so the run hard up against the table

2)I have the table border at 0 but thier is still white space between the tabe edge and the photos on the side and top - i was hoping to get the photo so the run to end of the table with no white space

3)also not sure if i am inthe right section for this question but i will try anyway - the buttons at the bottom of the page which designed in fireworks are working correctly but the ones at the top of the page the roll over does not work not sure why or how to fix this ..........thanks in advance for any help
