This website has a skyscraper banner on the left that stays with you as you scroll down the page.

As I have a 15 inch screen monitor, all works fine. But if i view the page on a 19inch monitor, it scrolls down to a slightly different point of the page. Is there anyway round this. New poster here! Recently been creating a website using HTML & CSS from scratch using Notepad++. I was under the impression that the more flat, or spread out the design, browsers would squish it automatically to fit on the page. Apparently this is not the case. I current have a page where the main content starts 250 pixels from the left hand side of the screen, this causes some of the content disappear of the right hand side of on lower resolution screens. Should I be starting the content at the far left, or is there another web page design convention I should be following? I assume there is a way around this however I can't seem to find it! Reference Link: {website taken off for personal reasons} If you visit the link I posted, what I want to happen, is when you click on the tabs Home, Giving Programs, Leave A Legacy or Make a Gift, I want the content of them to appear in the green box that is below the tabs. When you click on the tabs to the right - Events, Home, Home, I want their content to appear in the box that is below those tabs. I have that much figured out - but my question is - when you click on the links on the left, or on the right, the information in the opposite box (from the previous link that was clicked) goes away. Is there anyway to keep the information up in both boxes at all times? Example: If you click on Make a Gift - Tab content 4 here Tab content 4 here shows up in the green box below the tabs. BUT... when you click on Events to the right - TOOOOOOOOOOLS shows up - but 'Tab content 4 here' goes away. PROBLEM - I want 'Tab content 4 here' to stay up. But you know how you are on a page and you decide to click a link and the PAGE stays the same mean it doesn't reload but the content changes and loads... for example ... facebook... or http://diettogo.com/menu-nutrition/l...an-1600/week-4 when you click week one or week 2 the content changes but the entire layout doesn't reload... what is causing this.. how can I set my llinks up in this way.. is smooth and clean. I placed all my adsense ads into iFrames but when I resize the window small all the ads are pushed to the middle of the screen. How can I make them stay put. I've set up a test site for a project where I have a scrollable table within an iFrame. Techincally, its an iFrame within an iFrame which gets you to a scrollable table I also added an auto-scroll with anchor-links. Everything finally works, but I really want to remove the horizontal-scroll bar that shows up, while keeping the vertical-scroll bar. It seems to be an overlay over the main background image with a degree of transparency, is this done in the html, the css or something? With those settings, the banner lines up perfectly when viewed on my Powerbook G4. But now, on my new iMac with a wider screen resolution, the further or shorter the browser is stretched, that banner seems to be too elastic and does not stay perfectly above the menu bar.
