HTML - Showing Text In Html Textfield While Typing

It seems this is showing in every browser as incorrect. The text is showing below the table when it should be left aligned below the mission tab in the white background.

I am not sure how to explain this correctly so I hope just seeing it and the page source can help explain it.

About 3 quarters of the way down, if you click on the slide panel 'button' under lake louise and smith dorrien, it slides down but the text of 'slide panel' changes to being squished on the right hand side and the list on the left doesn't end where it is suppose to. It is pushed a bit down which I think is what is causing the text in the button to be messed up a little.

I've checked it many times and even copied it from the other parts where I have used it on the page but it still does the same thing...

Any ideas? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a site built using framesets. Works great in firefox but can't get anything but the top header to show in ie. Might someone with the magic eye take a look at www.vanwell.net and see if they can spot the problem.

On my site ( http://www.regyourdomain.com/go/kb.php ) if you view in Firefox, a small greyish box appears linking to the CSS (see screenshot)



Any ideas how to remove it? I cannot remove that line of code, as the script I am using does not allow it.

I have a site http://www.shoppersdelight.co.uk it listed perfectly OK in yahoo, google and MSN, but now it shows the Doctype as the title and all the HTML is coming up in the description, hence meta tags are not being used and the whole thing is f***ing up! Be really grateful for any comments as to why this might happen, or a stupid mistake in the code.

I have some subdirectories on a site and when I go to website.com/directory all I see is a blank page, but going to website.com/directory/index.html works just fine.

I DID previously have redirects on those directories (not sure if I made them temporary or permanent) and this must be the culprit because when I create new directories, they work just fine. I've removed the redirects via cpanel, but I still can't see my index.html

Any idea how to "fix" this?

I made an html web page using mcrosoft word but i can't seem to figure out why it only shows up as code when i preview it or upload it to the web. Is there a small step im missing?

I saved the document as .htm and as .txt and i tried to add doctype but i dont know what else i need to do

I made a email signature, i used dreamweaver to make it. Looks good when i preview it. But when i add it to email as signature it doesn't show colors or the correct font. I dunno why? Can someone look at source code of my html and see if i made a mistake. Thanx

For some reason, on my homepage (http://www.projectdisobey.com/disobeyclothing/) an extra '</div> <!-- content #end -->' is being created in the page source, AFTER the closing 'body' and 'html' tags.

There is no mention of '</div> <!-- content #end -->' in my 'footer.php' file, so why does this show up in the page source?

If anybody could point me in the right direction as to why this might be occurring, and how I might fix it, I would be eternally grateful!

I'm working on a simple website in which I'm required to use two types of forms input on a webpage. I have decided to make a simple quiz which will be designed as follows;

... answers should appear once the above button is pressed...

Is this possible in HTML? Sounds quite straight-forward but I'm no expert so forgive me..

Ps: Is it possible to design a radio button which, depending on the choice, the related-text will appear underneath on the same page? So if they select 'A' then paragraph 'A' will show, if they select 'C' then paragraph 'C' will appear (with the rest hiding)...

I have several websites that I maintain and update. A lot of them are just textual changes and I would think my customers can do these themselves by editing a simple .txt file.

I was hoping my choices are avalable so that I can just insert this tag into my web pages and then give them login info to their edit page or show them how to upload the .txt file.

I hope this is an easy one with several answers.

Is it possible these tags could discipline your rankings in the search engines?

i have a lot of text files(2-400) all have quite alot of text inside them so is there some software that can help me convert it all into html pages??

somthing that i am doing right now is: copied all of my text files pasted them into other location and editing each file and giving extention html/htm.

now can u tell somthing better??

all the files will open in same frame(obviously one at a time), all have styling n everything same.

I know this can be done easily by JavaScript or CSS, but want to to keep it as simple as possible and without security warnings.

Hello all.

My problem is that I cannot vertical align a link directly after a textfield. Safari shows below example just fine, every other browser has "Text" a little lower than "Label:". I have tried many approaches but none have worked.

Maybe someone here has the solution. I'd appreciate it a lot.
