HTML - Html Mail
hi everyone, i'm new to the community! great forum!
i've got a problem with a html mail. I want it to look like that http://www.giannibaccega.com/mail2/mail i've made that layout with inline CSS and absolute positioning, but Gmail messes all up! I've read that i need to use tables, but how can i overlap the logo GIANNI BACCEGA FOTOGRAFIA to the background image (the light)?? with tables they appears one on the right and one on the left, but i need the logo to overlap a bit the background... any suggestions? thanks! Similar TutorialsHello all, I am currently building an HTML newsletter complete with graphics and it is all set up and appears fine in my IE and other web browsers. However, now I want to actually place this HTML and graphics in the actual e-mail form and test it. This may sound like like a stupid question, but does anyone know how to do this? For the life of me I can't think of any way to actually embed an .html file (or just the HTML coding) inside of an email and have it appear inside of say.. a Yahoo, MSN, google, or outllook express email form. I need to be able to do this to test an send my e-newsletter. I've searched the net for tutorials on how to do this but have come up empty handed. Any ideas on how to go about this? Thanks in advance! Hi, so I'm trying to make this e-mail newsletter. It's entirely images, tables and text. So no javascript, just plain stuff. I tried attaching it as a signiture file and I had trouble sending it. It also didn't come out right. I'm trying to avoid using a software. Its basically just a block of HTML I need to show up as the only content in an email. If you just put HTML into a email text field, it just shows the HTML code in the email as text. Any ideas? Hello! I was hoping somebody here could help me. I am quite confused. Here is what I want to do: Create an image in photoshop or a similar program, and save it as an HTML, so I can send them in an e-mail. It will be a newsletter. I know there are sites I can go to that can create them, but I want my own layout - and plus they charge for their service. All I want is a free jpg to html converter. Is this even possible? If so, can u shoot me a link? Thanks in advance! I have been asked by a client of make an e-mail for their product that has email elements in it like a picture and a logo that use HTML elements pretty much a page that you open in your e-mail window. I often get discount mailers from many businesses that do this kind of thing. I know a bit about making HTML/CSS pages but I have never done an e-mail that has that look to it. Does anyone know the process I would use to assemble something like that? Thx u for the help? Hey guys I've been browsing for awhile now and I have finally joined up with a pretty basic simple question. I used a form generator to make this signup form for a group my friends putting together (long story lol). Basically its all generated and looks awesome. The issue is I have added this to the top <form id="form_113298" class="appnitro" method="post" action="mailto:EMAIL"> When i click submit however nothing happens... I dont have an email and it doesnt move forward or anything. Of course I never programmed another page after but heres some code from the bottom. <li class="buttons"> <input type="hidden" name="form_id" value="113298" /> <input id="saveForm" class="button_text" type="submit" name="submit" value="Submit" /> How can I make this form email me ? regards, Eddy I'm putting an html form on my site. When I send it, I get it, the fields are correctly filled out, but the message has an error. Can anybody help me out? Thank you in advance. HTML Code: <form action="http://lucaswynne.com/v-cgi/forms.cgi" enctype="application/x-www-form-urlencoded" method="post"> <table> <tr> <th align="right"> Name: </th> <td> <input type="text" name="Name" size="30" /> </td> </tr> <tr> <th align="right"> EMail: </th> <td> <input type="text" name="EMail" size="30" /> </td> </tr> <tr> <th align="right"> Subject: </th> <td> <select name="Subject" size="1"> <option value="Ask Lucas">Ask Lucas</option> <option value="Management and Booking">Management and Booking</option> <option value="Website Administrator">Website Administrator</option> <option value="Lucas Fan Mail">Lucas Fan Mail</option> </select> </td> </tr> <tr> <th align="right"> City, State/Province: </th> <td> <input type="text" name="City__State_Province" size="30" /> </td> </tr> <tr valign="top"> <th align="right"> Message: </th> <td> <textarea name="Message" rows="6" cols="30"></textarea> </td> </tr> <tr> <th></th> <td> <input type="submit" name="Submit_Form" value="Submit" /> </td> </tr> </table><input type="hidden" name="_vDeckformid" value="146" /> </form> Hi, I've spend today (9am yesterday till 3am... now) trying to learn my way through HTML from pretty much scratch! I've been helping out at a Drum Shop who've just got a website made, and they've been offered the chance to do a free e-mail campaign to local students. The shop has been open 40 years, and both the staff have been there since it opened, so entering the 20th century with a website is a major achievement! Anyway, I've been trying to compose the e-mail in html, and I think I've got something that'll work... but as I'm VERY new to all this I'm worried about whether it'll work in different browsers etc and, well... at all really! I've attached the txt of the HTML so far.... I've no editor etc, so been using notepad... sorry if it's awkward to read etc. I'm really just hoping someone will take pity on my poor fried brain and have a look at the page / txt and maybe let me know if there's something wrong with it and, if you're feeling generous, offer some tips and advice on changes... unfortunately, my first ever HTML e-mail will be going to 20,000 people, so I'm rather nervous about getting it right! Thanks in advance and eh, thanks for the forum... it's been really rather useful whenever I've been stuck / made a mistake! Steve PS: The images I'm using at the moment aren't quite right, can't fix them till I get back to work tomorrow morning! Hello, I want to create this website, using the mailto tag, the user will input the info in the text boxes then click on the submit button and mail the information to what ever email I specify in the mailto tag(is that correct, can malto do that?). But I want to take it a step further and the email in the textbox the user filled out it would be sent email about more information on what they came to the website for, can this be done in html? if so how, hopefully this made sense to everyone. Thank you First of all, WOW does this look like a site that can make it happen for me.. websitemakingwise. Im new and boy, loving the info so far.. ok, my problem: So Im cleaning up this code, yes.. again. And I wanted to make this automated php thing that sends emails straight to my inbox. Without having to use the client installed. Only problem is that the submit button isnt doing anything. Could someone have a look whats wrong? At the moment his website opens up outlook express, when the form is submitted, using the mailto: function, but he really doesn't like this. Is there any other way of emailing from a browser without any programs popping up? I am open to suggestions on other ideas that may work here if anyone can think of anything. Thanks in advance. Tom Hey, I am new to this forum but i can't find an answer to this question. I have recently created an online tackle shop. And in the "contact us" part I have my e-mail and the owners e-mail. But I want to have it so you can click on it from there and open up outlook or whatever the primary e-mail they have to e-mail us. But right now it just has the address so you would have to copy and paste it can anyone help me????? There is a HTML that when you click it, it opens Microsoft Outlook to send an e-mail. But how would you be able to get it to open Hotmail or Sky? |
