HTML - Fixed Position No Matter How Big The Window May Be.
How would I achieve having a webpage where everything stays in a flat, fixed position. I want nothing to move or change. My problem is: on my site, other people are seeing overlapping images and embedded flash apps that should not touch.

But i want these three scolling divs to be inside a position:fixed element so that they stay put when scrolling down the page. Is this possible? I dont think a pos:absolute will work nested inside a pos:fixed. How could i work around it? thanks! Hello, I am new in html, please could you advise with the following? In my page I have a caption and an iFrame where the height is big enough so that the scrollbar is never displayed - deliberately. I can scroll the page including the iFrame content up and down normally - cool. Now I fix the caption. When scrolling, the iFrame content goes over the caption. I want the iFrame content to stay below the caption. How to do this? I don't want to use iFrame scrollbar but the window scrollbar for scrolling. Thank you! HTML Code: <style>

Hey.. I want to add Images that stay fixed on my page (all pages on my forum). I want them both on the left of my pages & the right (in the spaces between the forum body & the sides of the screen) I want it because i want the images to link to game, console & accesory reviews that have been done on my forum. I googled it and got the following code to add.. Hi I have some websites that i would like to centralise on the screen irrelevant of the users screen resolution... some screens the site looks centred etc and its great but then the higher the screen resolution the viewer uses the more stuck up at the top it appears... is there a simple solution so the website centralises on any screen? My site currently uses the above code to open popup windows. Any help would be much appreciated, David Here is the case. I have an HTML page that opens a pop-up. Within the popup I need upon click to open a new window. The code is as it should be according to all references: <a href="some url" target="_blank">text</a> Everything is ok with IE6 and IE7 - a new window is being opened. What happens in Firefox is very strange - tabs are shown and the currently opened popup becomes one of the tabs and the new window opens in a new tab of the pop-up window instead in a new normal window. Did anybody encounter the same problem? Any solutions? Hi all, I have two html file (first.html and second.html) i called the first.html from batch Command file, then the batch file calls the second.html file. what i want is that while loading the second.html it will close the first.html using script. Hello! I recently uploaded a site I've been working on in Dreamweaver- www.gmerch.net My question is about templates. Currently the page will display with the main content below the nav bar, and not to the right. I suspect this is an issue of having a liquid template and not a fixed one.
