HTML - Safari Doesnt Display Html Site
Safari doesnt display html site as it should be, instead Safari shows just the html code...:

I would like it to display the redirected site, but if possible keep to the original address.. e.g. A site named www.mysite.com, with an INDEX.HTML to redirect to www.othersite.com, which displays OTHERSITE with www.mysite.com in the address bar. I am nearing the end of design/development but I have a weird display bug in Chrome and Safari. For some reason, the content displays off to the right of the main page? I have checked all the code through the W3C CSS and HTML validators and it all seems fine. I have tested in IE6+, FF and Opera which seem to work fine? I would really appreciate any help on this, I have been looking and tweaking for hours to try and fix it and I can't see anything obvious? Thanks very much in advance for any help! Hi all Firstly I’m a repeat newbie... I had a brief spell with a mate doing web things in 2000, playing comand and conquer most of the time over a network, we were poor but we had fun...blimey things have changed, in many ways!! I've put together a web site using a trial version of dreamweaver but the problem is that although it displays fine on all my machines at work and at home, the client (friend really) gets a muddled view on her laptop... Like the screen shot. !! I’ve run the compatibility and validator on dreamweaver and it seems ok. I’ve also run the address through w3.org validator and it seems ok. (from my local drive) But once online it only loads in Firefox. Is there something fishy with the frames perhaps? missing an XML doc on my end? I can't figure out what is causing this. Of note: * The image in the first blog post from the top isn't aligned correctly (should be inside the paragraph, not above it) * In my first blog post, all my text prior to my first link is underlined (wacky!) * The ends of the lines come too close to the margin * My second blog post spills over past the margin * My Recent Posts are pushed all the way to the bottom of my page I noticed that Firefox is correctly reading my .headline_area as an H2, whereas Safari is reading it as an H1. Strangely, if you click on a blog post, the formatting on that page is totally OK. The problem is only on my home page. If you're seeing what I'm seeing, do you have any ideas? Ik maked a inlogpage with html with a kinda keylogger in it for testing, after i completed the Html document and opend from my documents the Keylogger works great! but if i am uploading the html code's on Freewebs.com i get this www.freewebs.com/iffsow he say's The Form is unoprational!. In Safari and Chrome, however, the menu bar and the footer are a few pixels off plus the footer is separated from the bottom of the video box by a 1 or 2 pixel space. I could naturally adjust the menu bar and footer to display properly in Safari and Chrome, but then they would not display properly in the other browsers. This is certainly a Catch-22 situation. Anyone know a fix for this? BTW, I note that many people have display issues with Safari--one Apple rep told a questioner to get FireFox! I am having display problems in Safari (3.1.1). Our organization's webpage was created in Dreamweaver, with some additional javascript and html code added by an intrepid staff member with just enough knowledge to be dangerous. The page displays properly in Internet Explorer and Firefox for Windows, as well as Firefox and Netscape for Mac. However, the page displays a white screen in Safari. The page is loading, because the page title displays, and it is possible to view the source code for the page using the "View --> View Source" menu option. But none of the page content shows up. I did not find any relevant help in the Safari forums on the apple page, so I'm wondering if this is a simple coding problem that I don't know enough to ferret out. I need some serious help, I have no idea what to check: www.enviral-design.com go to th galleries page, and see what I mean. if you are in Safari or Chrome, it loads exactly like it's supposed to(for me at least) However, on IE or Firefox the gallery page loads all stretched, and as soon as you click on any thumbnails or spry accordion tabs the page just explodes!! what gives?? I've replaced the css for the accordion spry panels with deault DW css, no luck. same with the .js file that the accordions use, also no luck.... One string, a telephone number, should show in black, but in Safari it shows up in white (it is fine in all other browsers). However, if I change the string to text, it displays fine, so it only numbers that show up in white! Help - I have no idea what is causing this!?
