HTML - Ebay Html Listing - Help Required

Hi, i had an existing ad that I made with turbolister, i tried a template and added two pictures and a background, i accidently deleted the pictures off my computer and messed it all up. So i restored everything back and it is still missing on ebay. i should tell you that i was not using a online host just my computer to store the pictures, it seemed to be working fine until being the doo doo i am messed it all up. So i tried again and once it gets online its not showing the pictures. The backgrounds are there but not the pictures. I am so lost. Please any help would be appreciated. The backgrounds are also only stored on my computer but remain online in the listing. Its just the pictures that I am having problems with, maybe it is impossible to be offline and only have your computer as the host??? Not sure.

Can I put a code in my ebay items so that the whole advert document (eg. item1.html) Can be externally loaded in.

This way I can change the look of all my adverts by replacing the html files on my server and without having to touch ebay at all.

Hello everyone, this is my very first post here, you guys have a great site.

Okay, basically I am computer illiterate and I need some help from you guys on my ebay auction template. Here is a link to one of my auctions. As you can see, it looks somewhat old and needs revision. I need someone to help me make a new table or whatever it is called. I want this auction to look good, look professional. I need anything, something to make it not look so boring and I have no clue where to start. This template is what I use to list all 900 of the parts I have active in ebay.

From the part that says description inside the grey bar, all the way down the the part that has our store link right above the item pictures. Here is a link to the part that needs to be changed: here. Im sure its an easy process, but I am just not too sure how to change it. The guy who made it before me is no longer with us, so I am stuck. Even a finger in the right direction would be great, I have no clue on how to change the way those tables and and borderslook.

I am willing to compensate anyone who can help me with this problem. All I want is a good looking auction that is both professional and stylish. I am going to include the html in a post right below this one.

just wondering....lets say i am calling 2 different page in 2 frames (one page in each frame) in one html..and lets say those 2 pages require you to login through username and password....i want to create a applet that will allow me to enter credentials(username and password, if they are the same) in that applet(or dialog box) and which use that info and log in 2 both sites...

I need some help please. I am very un-educted person when it comes to anything www related but could design a bridge from scratch....:
I have selected view source from a website and had a look at the HTML that makes it all tick. I have changed a few things (text size and colour) and would like to preview it and see if I have managed to change anything and see if I understand the basics of html. My problem is I copied the source file and pasted in into word from where I changed it. Can one preview the site with any word function or would I require other software?? When I select the "webpage preview" it still comes in html formatt.

Could someone please explain (IN PLAIN ENGLISH) how to go about this.....

Hello, just joined what looks like a great resource for HTML help.

I am looking to have a form with two actions, "save as draft" and "do your thing". Both buttons would go to different scripts in the background which would perform different tasks, ie one saving the form data somewhere, and the other doing the work required.

My understanding of HTML forms is that you can only have one submit action, but I am no expert.

Has anyone had any experience of doing something similar? If so what would you recommend?

Any suggested reading much appreciated.

I'm brand-new to the forum, and brand-new to html. I'm attempting to modify a form on my website.

I had hoped I could avoid learning html by having someone else design my website, but it's becoming increasingly frustrating to go through him for every minor change (not to mention expensive).

So, I'm basically learning html while changing this form, and I know it's not a real pretty script, but I just need it to do its job.

After 5 hours of work on it, I thought it was just perfect. Every time I made one or two change, I uploaded it, and tested the form before saving it and moving on. It was going fine, until the last changes (removing the required validation on several fields)--now the form submits even when not a single field is filled in. Even undoing the changes and going back to the previous version doesn't help...

oh, by the way, I ran the html validation software and it came up with 193 errors (!). All of them were my programmer's, not mine. (I change only a few very specific things) Many were closing code, and I hand-fixed those. The rest I haven't a clue how important they are to repair, since the web form has worked with them so far...

I am wondering if it is possible to create an INDEX.HTML to redirect to another website?

I would like it to display the redirected site, but if possible keep to the original address..

e.g.
A site named www.mysite.com, with an INDEX.HTML to redirect to www.othersite.com, which displays OTHERSITE with www.mysite.com in the address bar.
