HTML - Html Image Code Issues In Outlook Signature
Hi Friends,
I've created an html coded email signature for Outlook 2003 (old, i know) and need some help. I've inserted a few images and linked them back to my company's social media platforms. When I insert the html template into Outlook it places <> after each picture/icon that i inserted. Any suggestions on how to remove these?! i finally figured out how to remove the underline but now i'm stuck with <> and can't get it to go away! PLEASE HELP!!! Similar Tutorialshello all how could i export an outlook signature from MS OUtlook 2003? THanks Hi guys, Could you please help me in giving the code that takes data from the fields in HTML form and when submit button is clicked the mail has to go to the intended user through Microsoft office outlook. Please help me... its very urgent Thanks & Regards Karteek Challa I'm not sure which forum this should be in, so my apologies if I have it wrong. I can use within a signature but I am not clear what I can specify within CODE. Ideally, I want something like %eval("25DEC2010"D -today()) so I compute the number of days until a certain date. Can anyone help? Hey all, New member and novice coder. I've got a website that's HTML that I need to setup some sort of e-signature or even pseudo e-signature. I saw the CSS thread but a) its beyond my skills and b) the site cant take\doesn't use CSS, from what I know of. Is there any way to have a page setup that the user clicks a box, types in their name and it sends a copy of it to an email account? Sounds more like a form page then e-signature.. Again novice coder so if my terminology isn't correct be kind I have the following code in my html HTML Code: <html> <head> </head> <body> <table width="296" border="0" cellspacing="5" cellpadding="5"> <tr> <td width="344" align="left"><p>Warmest Regards,<br> Sinduja </p></td> </tr> <tr> <td align="left" valign="top"><img moz-do-not-send="true" src="conceptlogo.jpg"> </td> </tr> <tr> <td>33/17, jina mw<br> <a href="www.conceptinaction.com" target="_blank">www.conceptinaction.com</a> | skype : v.sinduja</td> </tr> </table> </body> </html When I attach this file n go to the compose window to write email, i only get the text but not the image. I tried inserting the picture as an image for the table cell, but didn't work, now trying as a bg image. still not working. pls help me on this.. what is missin? I made a email signature, i used dreamweaver to make it. Looks good when i preview it. But when i add it to email as signature it doesn't show colors or the correct font. I dunno why? Can someone look at source code of my html and see if i made a mistake. Thanx http://users.bigpond.net.au/sublimecreatures/email.html Hello all im new to forum. i am building an online portfolio and im trying to make sure it works for the most used browsers. The code i have written works perfectly fine for IE but when using FF i have problems The problem im having is to do with my Navigation Bar. When i mouse over the navagation bar in FF it only works if i mouse over the bottom of the "image" of the navagation bar. Can anyone see why this is happening? i will post the relevant code and an example url. <LINK REL=stylesheet HREF="http://maths.sci.shu.ac.uk/students/Keenan_Liam/stylesheet.css" TYPE="text/css"> </head> <div style="POSITION: relative; TEXT-ALIGN: center"> <span style="WIDTH: 1000px; POSITION: relative; TOP: 104px; TEXT-ALIGN: center"> <a href="http://maths.sci.shu.ac.uk/students/Keenan_Liam/home/index.html" target="_blank" class="opacityit"><img width="100" height="29" alt="Home" src= "http://maths.sci.shu.ac.uk/students/Keenan_Liam/homeRj.jpg" border="0"></a> <a href="http://maths.sci.shu.ac.uk/students/Keenan_Liam/cv/index.html" class="opacityit"><img width="100" height="29" alt="CV" src= "http://maths.sci.shu.ac.uk/students/Keenan_Liam/mycv.jpg" border="0" ></a> <a href="http://maths.sci.shu.ac.uk/students/Keenan_Liam/year1/index.html" class="opacityit"><img width="100" height="29" alt="Year 1" src= "http://maths.sci.shu.ac.uk/students/Keenan_Liam/year1.jpg" border="0"></a> <a href="http://maths.sci.shu.ac.uk/students/Keenan_Liam/year2/index.html" class="opacityit"><img width="100" height="29" alt="Year 2" src= "http://maths.sci.shu.ac.uk/students/Keenan_Liam/year2.jpg" border="0"></a> <a href="http://maths.sci.shu.ac.uk/students/Keenan_Liam/year3/index.html" class="opacityit"><img width="100" height="29" alt="Year 3" src= "http://maths.sci.shu.ac.uk/students/Keenan_Liam/year3.jpg" border="0"></a> <a href="http://maths.sci.shu.ac.uk/students/Keenan_Liam/year4/index.html" class="opacityit"><img width="100" height="29" alt="Year 4" src= "http://maths.sci.shu.ac.uk/students/Keenan_Liam/year4.jpg" border="0"></a></span> </div> the url is http://maths.sci.shu.ac.uk/students/...me/index2.html Thanks, Liam Hi, I'm just learning html and I'm creating my website in Frontpage 2003. I looked in IE6 and my individual pages are exactly how I want them to look. However, viewing the same pages in Firefox presents me with a problem I'm not sure how to correct. It has to do with the center table. I originally copied and pasted the contents from Excel into the table (which I think was a mistake now). My workaround to this was copying and pasting the contents in the table into Notepad; and also shortening the length of each line; and then re-pasting the contents back into the table. It looks o.k. in Firefox but the alignment is no longer "justified". Can someone please tell me what I should be doing in the html code here? To see what I mean please open the link below in both IE and Firefox. http://www.prosperityteachers.com/ne...ew_thought.htm Much appreciated! Hi, I have a table with a background image. i want that this background image adjust itself dynamically according to the size of the table. Can this be achieved. can anyone post any technique of doing this? Thanks in advance geniuses htmlgroom I am not an amatuer, I'd think, but for some reason I am having trouble slicing up this image into a site (http://www.pigseldesign.com/tartan_mod.jpg). The top menu is the problem area, but I think my trouble comes into play due to me using tables. I haven't really delved into DIV tags yet to understand how to make it work in that form, but it doesn't seem like it would be difficult. I've just split the image into four columns and the menu falls into the 3rd. Problem is, when I make the cell's background the black/gray gradient, it spans to match the height of the patterned banner on the left (in another cell), even after I set the menu's cell's height to what it should be. I know there isn't much concrete information to work with, but any help would be greatly appreciated. Even if there were a program where I could just slap this in and have it spit out what I need. I just want the code clean, correct and looking right. I am not the most technically inclined, so the wording may be iffy ... but I noticed that when I use a table to align images (like jpegs or gifs), my webpages get skewed only when I view them in Windows internet explorer 8 (things seem to be okay in Mozilla, Safari, Chrome, etc etc) ... anyone know why? here is an example: I put an image with a width="32" and a height="29" into a 'TD' tag (data for table) that is also designated a dimension of 32 by 29 pixels ... for some reason in explorer the images skew the table and distort my webpage. note: I set in the table tag: cellpadding = 0 cellspacing =0 border=0 ALSO i set inside the img src tag a 'border=0' to be safe look at the following example (in explorer 8 then the other browsers that seem to work): http://missko.shacknet.nu/cityofrose...bleexample.htm .. in the first (very small) image to the left you can see a green background color just below the image (only in Windows internet explorer 8) meaning it did not fit within the 'table data' boundaries for that particular table. i hope this makes ANY sense .. this is driving me CRAZY! it is happening with ALL my stuff .. i have a feeling there is no way around this. any ideas? thanks. Hello, I am trying to create a HTML newsletter email, but for some reason the table I created for the framework is scrunching inside MS Outlook. It appears to be correct with every other medium (various webmails and such). Is there a way to force outlook to keep the table properties I put inside the code? I attached the HTML file as well as a screenshot of how outlook looks. Any help is greatly appreciated! Hi I have just designed my first html eshot and tested it on different email clients using Mailchimps inbox inspector. Its fine across all clients as far as I can see except for Outlook 2007 & 2010. The image on the left moves out of place quite a bit. Outlook 2003 and all others are fine, its just 2007 & 2010 causing the problem. Weblink (how it should look) Outlook 2007 & 2010 (how it shouldn't look) Outlook 2003 (just fine) Does anybody know whats wrong? I'v tried all sort and it nothing is working, its driving me crazy! Dam you outlook! Thanks! Hi, I'm a beginner with HTML and am trying to generate stationary using HTML for Outlook2007. The below is what I have for my code and the look is actually very good. However, when I tab from the subject line to the body, the cursor ends up at the beginning of my centered image. From there, the image moves when I type. What I'm looking to have happen is for the image to be static (un-movable) and the cursor to actually start positioned below the image with a left justification. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks, Jared Hey guys, so, I'm having some problems creating HTML newsletter emails in Outlook 2003, whenever the newsletter is viewed in a browser it works fine, the layout stays the same and everyones happy. However, when this is put in an email as HTML text the format completely messes up. Does anyone know a way round this? I've tried importing it into Word and saving it, then copying and pasting it in but still no luck. Any help would be great! I have a client who's dead-set on sending out their own HTML emails via Outlook. I create the HTML with absolute links for them via Dreamweaver; then they attach the HTML "as text" into a new Outlook message and send it out. It works surprisingly well except for one thing: Outlook always drops out any background image so that part of the message just looks blank. Is there any easy way to force Outlook to display a background image correctly? Thanks! Hi all, I am scratching head for couple of days .
