Hi guys,

I have a html template I use a lot that I have been adding/removing bits for ages. The output (when viewed in a browser) is just what I need but I think the coding behind it may have become a bit messey. Ive tried to tidy the coding up a bit but im not very good with html tables and everything falls apart. I'm not sure what these errors mean. I am using HTML 4.01 Strict! Errors highlighted in red.

Hello, on my page i am having 3 problems at the moment.

>>The first, is that in firefox my page is centered, and in IE it is not.

>>The second, is that my navigation bar (in a table) seems to be putting a pixel in between my image links, EVEN THOUGH i have specified border="0" and border:0 in my css and my html.

>>The third, is that 4 images arent showing up (on test.html), but i can click on the area where they SHOULD be showing up, and use them as invisible links. I want the images to show up.

I must also specify that i am working to make it look perfect in FIREFOX, but if you could suggest anything that would improve it visually in IE too, that would be a bonus.

I am creating very simple Adsense websites for novice programming moms.
I have my tables set, I need a header to display Google Adsense within one of the top tables on all 80 pages of content. In PHP we refer to the process as "Calling". I need to call the header to each page. Frames won't work, have to use tables.

I would like to make a header that contains the Adsense info, so when there are 80 pages of content the newbee mom programmer doesn't have to add google adsense separately to each of the 80 pages. Its difficult enough to get them to do it once without saving the template as a .txt file. If I can just write the instructions so they can open 1 header file, pop in the adsense code in a large open area then save it using a html ext. it will be a life saver. Then I just have to explain ftp - wish me luck.

(I am use to hacking up PHP scripts, sad to say I hack well, I program badly.)
I have probably over explained this, sorry.

Hi,

I'm having a few problems viewing a page in Firefox and IE. It works fine in Safari at the moment. Can you point me in the right direction of what to do? I have run the W3C Validator through it and it has come up with a few errors. I would be grateful if you could breifly explain one or two of the errors? Error 1 and 2 for example? I tried altering the code but I could not get the correct result.
