HTML - Html Changes Automatically With Date
Hi,
I'm building a website for a Rock Band. They have a FORTHCOMING GIGS page, and a GIG HISTORY page. Can anyone tell me how, when the date changes, the information is deleted from the FORTHCOMING GIGS page, and then appears on the GIG HISTORY page. I know that this can be done automatically, I just don't know how. I think it might be a php script. Thanks Similar TutorialsHi everyone, New to this site so I hope i can get some helpful tips. Thank you. Hi, I could do with some help. I have built a form which allows visitors to add there insect records to a mysql database. One of the fields is a date. Instead of the user having to type in the date each time I would like to include a button saying 'Todays date'. When the user presses the button it automatically fills in the date field with the todays date. Could someone please tell me how I could do this. this should not be hard if im not mistaken I would just change the text for it to type in the html file, the website does not need to be opned aswell when the html file is launched i would obvioustly learn HTML but i don have time at the present because of college work,etc for reference: the page is at www.omegle.com then click 'spy mode' and you will get a textbox on the page i want the file to return the question in a loop because it saves clicking the file all the time Hi! I would like to know if it's possible to link informations located in an html file into another html that would be displayed on a web page. I'll explain my situation: I'm managing a simulated hockey league and the simulator I'm using generates after each simulation many html files that contains infos about standings, injurues, etc... What I would like to do is to, rather than putting buttons on my main websites to access the plain black&white html file, take the info inside these html and put them directly on a better web site interface, all this automatically. In a way that I only have to code once my main webpage so it can read my generated html files (that always keep the same file name) and updates my nicely designed web page each time I put newer htmls on my web ftp. For example, I want to create a 30 day journal link where each day a new journal page would come up. To my understanding I know I would have create a folder that would have 30 separate html pages. But my question is how can I set up the site that each page would automatically update according to day and time. Let's say that at 12:00am midnight a new html page with new content would be available for the reader. I don't have a lot of time to manually update the link with new content, so I want the site to do it on its own each day. Am I making any sense? It has a link navigation menu and a sidebar on the left with newsletter opt in, products for sale, etc... I was wondering if there was a way to change/ edit the contents of the sidebar on EVERY PAGE without having to manually go in and change the updated HTML code on every single page. Is there a script that i can use to make this happen that I can just edit the sidebar and it will "update" the sidebar on all 30 pages accordingly?? Then the user can only select the Home link and re-directs himself to the home page. What code can I add to the "destination" web page (code below) that will automatically (in the background) move the user automatically from the "destination" page to the Home Page? (if you suggest I re-direct straight from the upload to Home Page, I'd rather go to destination page and then to home page) Thank you. If you click refresh, the file starts to play. Also, if you click "next" and then go back, it starts to play. It's only when you clear your cache and click the link again, is when it does not play and just sits there. Ok, I'm sure the title was very vague, but I didn't know how to ask this. Lets say, for example, I have a view count for certain page on my website that is automatically generated. I want to take that number, and have it also automatically generated on another page, that links to that page. So say I have a page about elephants that has a view count of 57. I want to have on another page a picture of an elephant (that is also a link) and beside that picture, I want it to say View Count: 57. Is there some type of javascript or html coding or something I can do to make this happen? Please help. |
