HTML - Mirroring A Dynamic Site
Hey guys,
I am trying to create a mirror of a very small, simple, google website that I created. Here is the link - http://sites.google.com/site/setestingse/home. Now, what I need is to be able to create a mirror of this site which people can visit, and they will see this counter. However, they will also be able to see the changes someone makes from the original page, yet they themselves will not be able to make changes. Here is the very simple HTML - Code: <object type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowScriptAccess="never" allowNetworking="internal" height="768" width="1024" data="http://sites.google.com/site/setestingse/test_file.swf"> <param name="allowScriptAccess" value="never" /> <param name="allowNetworking" value="internal" /> <param name="movie" value="http://sites.google.com/site/setestingse/test_file.swf" /> <param name="quality" value="high" /> </object> It is simply embedding the flash file which I have uploaded. I feel like the solution isn't too hard, but I am a beginner with this stuff. Let me know. Thanks a bunch Similar TutorialsCan anybody help me? I'll pay you if you can help me out. I am not here to promote my website so if I do something wrong please advise and I'll edit my post. My website is www.auditorclothing.com I recently found another website www.authmemllc.com which is apparently pointed to my dedicated IP address, thus mirroring my website. Is there anyway to stop this? I am wondering if it is possible to create an INDEX.HTML to redirect to another website? I would like it to display the redirected site, but if possible keep to the original address.. e.g. A site named www.mysite.com, with an INDEX.HTML to redirect to www.othersite.com, which displays OTHERSITE with www.mysite.com in the address bar. Hope I explained ok, any responce would be much appricated! Thanks! im wondering if any1 can help me figure out how i can keep my domain name and link it to my Apache Home Server with a Dyanmic IP i have tried no-ip.com but i dont like having sitename.no-ip.com i want sitename.com does any1 know a way to do this?? Hi, Is there anyway to script in such a way that if i never enter a specify to a cell, and give it 100% instead, my cell below will go all the way to the bottom by putting my whole table as 100% too? |--------------------------| | | | 100% | | | |--------------------------| | 50px | | | |--------------------------| something like that. well, it actually work in firefox and not IE, and i cant solve the problem. Thanks in advance. My apologies if this is in the wrong area, i have searched forum and could not find what i'm needing/doing wrong. I have a website that was in cold fusion, i am changing it to html/css. So i sliced it up and everything is good except the area i need to be dynamic for wordpress. Only half is stretching. The part where i want widgets to go is not stretching with rest. Sorry if my code is a mess, i'm just learning. Thanks for any advise or directions. I want to create a calculator for my website, similar in function to an excel spreadsheet although it doesn't have to look like one. Anyone have any idea how I can go about doing this? I have 10 rows compose of 3 textbox per row. After pressing submit button, they are post to the next page to a table. But my problem is if only 3 rows have data the other rows is still shown in a table but blank with borders. So I want my table to show the rows who only have data I need dynamic iframe and i found that I have found your script: http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...iframessi2.htm but this doesn't exactly work in IE6 what to do solve this problem? Hello, I am using a loop to dynamically generate buttons using the <button> tag. The value for this button is populated using a variable. When I click on one of these buttons, I want the content of the button to be displayed on the text field. But, because it is in a loop and the because the value is a variable only the value of the 1st button comes in and then disappears from the text field. The javascript I am trying out to populate the text field is : function passButtonValue() { poitem= document.getElementById("poitem"); hiddenField = document.getElementById("hiddenField"); hiddenField.value = poitem.innerHTML; } I am using ABAP for getting the values and running the loop How can I reprogram it to overcome this problem? Thanks! I also want to be able to make my website more interactive in this way: when I click on one table cell, another cell appears below, which can then be clicked on. Is there a way to do this with CSS and/or HTML, or will I have to resort to Flash? i wont to add dynamic iframe work also in IE6 pls help me Well, I think that's what it would be considered. Anyways, I have a simple project where I'm making a website that has a drop down menu with a list of items. I also have a table which will define the items. What i want to know is how to change the text in one of the table boxes when a new item in the drop down menu is selected. This is the code i have so far... Code: <html> <head> <title> My Definitions </title> </head> <body> <script type="text/javascript"> var define= new array() define["Unicode"] = "unicoded" define["Hexadecimal"] = "hex" define["Binary"] = "bin" define["Compiler"] = "compil" define["Interpreter"] = "inter" define["Topology"] = "top" define["Server"] = "ser" define["Overflow Error"] = "of" define["Phishing"] = "phish" define["Network"] = "net" function definition(def) { } </script> Select a definition from the list: <select id="list"> <option>Unicode</option> <option>Hexadecimal</option> <option>Binary</option> </select> <br> <br> <table border="1" width="100" cellpadding="5"> <th>Definition:</th> <th>Pictu </th> <tr><td>two</td> <td>one</td></tr> </table> </body> </html> any help would be greatly appreciated. The embedded side of my project is not much of a problem to me, I have background on this. But HTML is a new animal and I am low on the learning curve. I apologize if this is an unlearned question. The attached file is one I cut and pasted together by an eclectic approach . The page layout is a little asymmetric, but has its elements in (close to) the right places. The presentation is nice. It also displays the values from the PIC correctly, but in two different "divisions" of the code. I admit, I don't know s__ from shinola about this. I am just cutting and pasting and trying to follow some general syntax concepts. And I have by utter beginner's luck gotten something that somewhat "works". Referring to line 39 of the attached file, the "display" division, the following 25 paragraphs of type: <p>updateParm0: <span id="updtParm0">?</span></p> Are working correctly and displaying the value associated in the mchp.js file which contains the dynamic variable array. Of course, this printing screws up the placements of all the elements in the large table which follows. But this will ultimately not be a problem, because these paragraphs won't remain in the code. What I would like to accomplish is to remove the 25 paragraphs in the "display" division, and cause the "updtParmXX" values to appear on the page in the placement described by the table layouts. Could someone tell me briefly how to do this? Or if I need a completely different approach? Thanks. PS: the attached .zip file is index.htm in its day job. Is there a way to dynamically create text in html/jsp based on a value the user chooses? I have the following code in a jsp and based on the value of the returntype that the user chooses. The value SSN: has to change to SSN/FEIN: depending on what is choosen in the return type drop down (note, the change has to be in the text and not the inputType field). Is there an easy way to do this? Here is the form code... <form action="CompareData" method="post"> <center> <table cellspacing="5" border="0"> <col width=450> <tr> <td align = "LEFT" colspan=2><b>Please enter the parameters below to retrieve the information:</b></td> </tr> </table> </center> <center> <table cellspacing="5" border="0"> <col width=200> <col width=100> <tr> <td align = "LEFT"><b>SSN:</b></td> <td><input type="text" name = "SSN" value="000000000" ></td> </tr> <tr> <td align = "LEFT"><b>End Year:</b></td> <td><input type="text" name = "ENDYEAR" value="2007" ></td> </tr> <tr> <td align = "LEFT"><b>Num of Years:</b></td> <td><input type="text" name = "NUMYEARS" value="2" ></td> </tr> <tr> <td align = "LEFT"><b>Return Type:</b></td> <td> <select name="ReturnTypeDropDown" > <option value="WI">WI</option> <option value="IRS">IRS</option> <option value="Informational">Informational</option> </select> </td> </tr> <tr> <td><input type="hidden" name="RETURNTYPE" value="" ></td> <td><input type="button" value="Retrieve" onClick="validate(this.form)"></td> </tr> </table> </center> </form> I have 3 radio buttons in my web page and nothing else initially. Say A,B and C. If i choose Radio button A, i should get a drop down menu in the same page. After that if i choose radio button B, the drop down menu corresponding to Radio button A should disappear and drop down corresponding to B should appear. Similarily for radio button C also. All these should happen on the same page. Is this possible with HTML or should i go for some other scripts like java scripts, or JSP etc can anyone help me out with this? Hey, I have my example here, take a look: http://oritzio.com/keypad/ Right now if you clicking on number it's writing it in the input text which it's great But if you clicking again on any number it's overwrite the previous number. How can I make it that that it will be continous? Thanks, Oritzio. Right - I am looking for way to do the following... I want to have a 3 URLs on a page > something like Code: <a href="http://www.somesitesomewhere.com" alt="no 1">Click here for option 1</a> <a href="http://www.somesitesomewhere.com" alt="no 2">Click here for option 2</a> <a href="http://www.somesitesomewhere.com" alt="no 3">Click here for option 3</a> which will take the viewer to another website landing page which will have a body of text that will contain an area that will be changed depending on which of the above links has been clicked... i.e.: Code: <p>this is copy for the body of the landing page. You clicked option {dynamic_text}, nice choice.</p> So the "alt" state appears dynamically - I know that the link will have the dynamic text elsewhere in the anchor tag (not in the 'alt' tag) - but am not sure where/how to implement. Can anyone help? Cheers YB Hello, I want to understand the best way to make the height of my page change depending on the content. I know that I can partly accomplish this with tables, but tables have an even number of rows and columns. My page looks like this... .................Title................... ______________________ |.....|..............................| |Nav|...........Content........| |.....|..............................| |.....|..............................| |___|_________________| .............FOOTER............... Its very basic, but this is my current road block. What is the best way to accomplish this? Thank you in advance! The Situation: I'm integrating a forum into my website with an Iframe. I want it to look good and scrollbars just don't cut it. I was hoping to find a script that could decide the height of the iframe base on the contents of the contents. In short, I want the iframes height to change according to the forum. The Problem: I found a lot of scripts that accomplished this, but with one major problem in all of them. When you go to a link within the Iframe the height stays the same. So if the original page is short and the page its linked to is longer, it cuts off. The Site The Explanation: As you can see the script works nicely on the first page, but if you go to the post in the "Announcements" section the height stays the same and the post is cut off. Does anyone know of a dynamic iframe height script capable of resizing again every time a page is loaded inside the iframe? |
