HTML - My Website Shows Up Weird In Firefox But Perfect In Ie... Why ? And What Can I Do ?

My website has a problem with showing properly in Firefox Here is my url: http://lessons-4-success.com Can you tell me what i can do to get it to show properly like it do in IE ? In FF, it lines up perfecly, it obeys the code which tells it to be in the 'middle' of the cell. But in IE, the search box goes to the 'top' of the cell. 2 -- At the bottom left, you'll see a drop down menu: 'Visit our Sister sites', In FF, the spacing between the text and the drop down is perfect. But in IE, there is an extra high space. Can anyone tell me why these anomolies are occurring. Usually, I've been able to figure out what's causing the difference, but here, I've tried everything, and nothing changes the behavior in IE. Thanks very much as the title suggests my web page just comes out blank when previewed in I.E but works perfectly for firefox. I have run validation tests with no error results so i have no idea what could be causing this. Hi I am very new to website design and html code therefore I cannot spot what may be a very simple error in my webpage code. The page in question is http://www.stephanieholmes.co.uk/videos.html I have made the page in dreamweaver. The content is layed out in a table 7x8 with the two outer column's rows merged to contain the left and right floral border. However, in Firefox the centre columns are displaced vertically, but this problem does not occur in IE which confuses me. Please help! I hand coded my website myself, but whilst working perfectly in IE, there are some problems when viewing it using Firefox. Specifically, the table rows have double-spacings (scroll down to the 'Education' section he www.lombrozo.co.uk/resume.html), and also table borders have a 3D look (a black border to emphasise the shadow), again, this shadow is not visible in IE... I've created a page with a hidden div on it that is displayed at certain times (after a button is clicked). The div is displayed on top of a semi opaque div that covers the whole of the page (this is created and added to the page when the hidden div is shown). The effect is very similar to the lightbox technique. To prevent select boxes showing through the opaque overlay in IE6 I'm also using an iframe shim. The only problem I have is that in FireFox, the text input fields on my lightbox div do not have the flashing carat in them. You can select the inputs and enter text into them, it just looks a little odd not having a carat in them when they are selected. Anyone else come accross this? Ok look at these two links. Why would changing to the current month (which also happens to be the value on the database) make the lines not match up? My website (3 below) looks different with Firefox than IE. The pics and text are not lined up correctly. I think it's because I used page breeze? Any pointers? Some things that look unorderly are the tables which seem to move around, the text which seems to space out more than it needs to, and some words are pushed under pictures. Can anyone help? Thanks I had this problem before with the Firefox coding incompatibility.. On my website, I post updates for all of the changes I make about each month. I tried to post an update today and I noticed that it wasn't showing up in Firefox. I brought my page up on Internet Explorer and it shows up just fine. Point and case, there's something wonky with my coding again that is angering Firefox and its refusing to show my updates. Are they necessary? I'm afraid that if I delete a few of them where I don't think they are needed I'll have some more problems. ugh. I'm trying to design a website for my self and I have a problem. My default browser is Safari so I didn't notice the problem till now. I designed the site layout in photoshop and the site in dreamweaver and it works fine in IE and Safari but in Firefox the site layout gets split at the top of the page and you can see the background in a line. Now the layout has two CSS styles for content in the middle and sidebar on the left both have background color that matches the design #333 and #646464. These are noticeable in the split. If I open the Rosters in IE7 it looks good but when I open it on Firefox it looks terrible, the images are all over the place and cant even see some of the text that I have under the images. Hey all, I was wondering if anybody had any pointers on this website I've been building. It looks alright so far in Firefox, but I've had some issues in IE. The link is: http://www.totaros.com/totaros new/index.html Specifically, -The image distortion on the menubar-what are the best types of images to save these as for compatibility in IE? -The menubar not resizing in IE with different resolutions -Aligning text next to pictures (such as on the Entertainment page).
