HTML - New To Creating A Website With Html

Hello I'm not sure if this is in the right section, but I'm trying to figure out how to make my website more easily maintainable.

EG On my site there is a bar on every page with my "latest updates", every time I want to add an update I have to add it to every page which is tiresome.
I was wondering if I can just have this bar point to a text file on every page so I can just update this one file and it will be displayed on all pages.

I would like to start a credit card website, but I don't know much about html/web design. I am offering someone professional to help build me a website. The site must look like this site: credit-land.com , mainly referring to its templates & color.

In addtion, I would like another website, somewhat similar (but not a clone) to this one: get3creditcards.com , so that I can distribute copies of that site to my affiliates to help promote my products. This means, when their affiliate application get approved, I will send them the site to put under a domain name.

Also, I need for someone to help set up a tracking system for my affiliates, so they can track their earnings. And I believe this has to be another site? page?

Facebook share button, twitter etc.
Flash banner with a picture slider
add own logo, slogan, footer etc.

I tried wordpress but the themes are not that great and it wont let you do a lot. Is there an app or software that will make this easy?

I want to build a website that when first entering the website asks for a user name and password. Then depending on which username they enter it goes to their page. On the page a want like a form that they can enter information to and save a text file or something on to the server that they can access at a later date and edit and save again. I want to be able to view this file. How can I do this? Thanks for the help

Ive been asked to fix up an old webpage. The old web master is a bit senile and can not complete the page. I had created a php page but the server is so old that it doesnt support php. I want a page with a simple leftnav and I need to add a photogallery with thumbnails... anyone have any advice for me? Are there any good free templates out there that could do all this for me? Or maybe some good tools?

I am semi-new to html, and have tried to figure this one out on myself, but it just doesn't seem to work!

So I am trying to create a layout for my photo blog, with these standards:

* images that I post auto-resize to squares [100*100]
* when you click on the image it will show you the full sized version

optional:
* on the homepage you get the option to click on 'ANALOG' and 'DIGITAL'

That's all! It can't be that hard right, am I over-seeing something?

I want to use this layout on tumblr, blogger, wordpress, or any other free platform!

I am working on a website that deals with a form for an electronic check. I pretty much know how to do the code for getting the values, etc, I just do not know how to create the actual forms. I have to create the pages in Visual Studio 2008. Here is what I have to create:






The first image explains what is supposed to be in each field of the form. The second image is what it is supposed to look like after the user inputs information to the form.

And here is what the result is supposed to be after the user clicks the preview button:




So like I said, I know how to do most of the coding, I just have no idea how to manipulate Visual Studio to make the forms look like, or at least similar to, the pictures I posted. I have experience in html and css and some in javascript. So that is not really the issue. I just do not know Visual Studio too well. It seems like there is something easy and/or obvious that I am missing. I played around with VS for several hours earlier and I could not make anything that looked similar the images.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi There, I need some help creating a html cookie that collects information from a registration form I created in HTML. I then need to take that information and populate another form which is an invoice. So far I haven't been able to accomplish this on my own because I have the Regform.html, which already post info to a regform.php (this is what generates an email to me with the registration info). It is on that regform.php form they have the option to have a invoice created. Since I can't nest forms together I have to use this cookie method. The html cookies I have found online have not given me anything more then the generic cookie in which to place on someones pc.
No knowledge of JS doesn't help. These are the fields below that need to link from the regform.html to the invoice.html form. I just realized that I have multiple lines on the invoice for multiple registrants but the same is not true on the regform. Even if I could get the first group of info to carry over, I could then edit the regform to add multiple registrants on the next lines.

Hello all. I am new to this forum and really need some help creating a form. I am trying to help a friend out for a Charity Golf Tournament. I have some of the code completed already and cant figure out a few things.

Basically the form I have created already has a drop down box for Golfers 1-4. I need help creating the rest of the form so when a person selects (from the drop down) either 1,2,3,or 4, then the form will display golfer information fields such as Golfer Name, Address, Email, Phone # only for the amount of golfers selected. ( I need the golfer information piece to be dependant on how many golfers are selected, etc)

Hi,

I'm a beginner with HTML and am trying to generate stationary using HTML for Outlook2007. The below is what I have for my code and the look is actually very good. However, when I tab from the subject line to the body, the cursor ends up at the beginning of my centered image. From there, the image moves when I type.

What I'm looking to have happen is for the image to be static (un-movable) and the cursor to actually start positioned below the image with a left justification. Does anyone have any ideas?
