HTML - Html Reset Button Not Working In Firefox Browser
i have written a simple html form code the problem is that this code is working fine when run in interner explorer, if i run in mozilla firefox form reset button work as submit button it show submit validation code when reset button press, can any one help me here is the code

What im trying to do is put an activeX control into a .htm page and use a html form. The .htm uses the activeX to read a .txt file, and displays the data in a table, with headings, descriptions, images, and a text box used for selecting a quantity. Then at the bottom of the page, I have made a simple send to email button, and a reset button. However my problem is; I dont think the code for the form is enclosing the whole table. I am using a script I found on a jQuery board (http://jsbin.com/acado/6), and it works for them, but not for me because my syntax is probably wrong. And they also are just using 1 field and not near-unlimited dynamically loading fields like I am. How would I add in a fix to have the browser 'only' use the expansion if the user is using IE6 or IE7? I searched on the boards but couldn't find the solution to this problem. Thanks in advance! I inherited a HTML/PHP project which was a written in hurry and now I am trying to put in some editing and other confirmations. A type=reset was added to the screen and there is 2 option lists. When the form is first load only 1 list is displayed. Then the user makes the selection and depending on the selection the second list would display or not. On the reset option would like to hidden the 2nd selection but seems I can not get the right coding. I have tried onclick on the <input but no luck. There is a onSubmit on the <form which calls some validation checking. Tried put the call to function to hide the option list but no luck. Of course, I probably did not have the coding correct. How can I hide the 2nd option list on reset. I created a website with google pages http://jlandbirk.googlepages.com/cross It works fine in Explorer but some problems in Firefox. In Firefox the banners are spaced further apart. But when I click on them they grow closer together. Keep in mind google pages has some built in code. FYI, this is my second version of the page, I messed up a few things in the first revision and just started over with a brand new file. The same problem happened in the first revision. This works perfectly in IE for me. In Firefox, when I click on it, the smaller window opens, and the background window a few seconds later follows and displays the small page fullscreen as well. Basically, I want the homepage to always be in the background, and these seperate pages to always be in the smaller windows. I'm on a PC, I notice in Firefox it works properly if you RIGHT click on the items, but most people are going to LEFT click, so... I need it to work the same as it does in Internet Explorer. For complicated reasons having to do with getting some Javascript to submit a form properly, which I won't get into here, I need to create a "do nothing" input button, whose mere presence lets the Javascript function work. Since this button does not do anything when you press it, I want it to be invisible. In IE I can get it to be invisible just by setting its width to zero using the line below. However, Firefox insists on giving it some finite width, even if there is no label on it (see below). How do I create a zero width button in Firefox - and is there any other way to hide input buttons? <input type="submit" name="control" value=" " style="width: 0px" title="No function" /> I've followed this walkthrough on how to make a submit button with an image on it. The image part is working fine (along with the mouse up and over images) but the actulle submit function of the button is NOT working.
