I have a problem with a PNG which sits at the bottom left of this page. http://www.horizonwebsites.co.uk/sim...tock/index.asp. You can see it perfectly in FireFox but it is not visible in IE. Now I am not an expert on html and only self taught. I have changed the href of the <a> tag to different things, but they don't work. This is a prototype so it will be put into CSS later. I would like to have the box slide in about a second after the page has loaded, and then slide back down when the 'X' is clicked, I hope this doesn't require too much code! (regardless of how many columns there are). I recently made a rollover menu, and though the text does highlight when I roll over the cell, the link only works if I rollover the word is the cell. Hi On my site, I have a menu on the left hand side. When the mouse is over each option, the inner part of the table turns blue. Once you click on the text inside the mini table-button, it takes you to where you want to go. I would like it so that when you click on any part of the table-button it takes you to where you want to go, instead of having to pin-point the cursor to the text. And my question is in the left menu If I click the hyperlink I want to display some other page only in the center body, how to do this If I use normal hyperlink it is occupying the total page but I want it to be display only on the Center of the table. I appreciate your efforts, Thanks in Advance. Im having an issue in some browsers with making a whole cell in a table a link. I have simplified my code to that below for ease of troubleshooting here. Using the code below, and assuming you have two image files named AlphaThumb.jpg (approx 80x100 px) and Alpha.jpg (A larger version of AlphaThumb.jpg) in a folder with the html and css files I achieve the desired result in IE7, IE8 & in Lunascape6 (Ver 6.3.4). However Firefox (Ver 3.6.13), Safari (Ver 5.0.3) & Opera (Ver 11.00) all have the same issue, in that the link doesn't work. If anyone has any ideas I'd be grateful for some input. Hi all, Sure glad I found this site!, I would like to ask for some advice please guys I have a portal that uses a portal stylesheet, the header is a .png image and needs to be 100% width, this loads from a Content Web File Manager, it carries a logo on the left and some corperate colour bands, it appears on every page of the portal, the right side is blank apart from the picture of a search box ( it shipped with the png I will be getting rid of this using PSP) I have created a <div> content </div> and I want this to appear to the right and in front of the header in place of this search box The <div> loads fine on templates (the dynamic content of the portal these are templates that the site use) so I know this works fine, now i want to make it appear on the header itself in place of the picture of the search box that I have erased This is where I am getting stuck - I do want it to be a permanent feature on the header and to the right, what do I need to use in the html code before and after the <div> content </div> ? Which produces: However, the "problem" is that i would like that result with this variation on the code: HTML Code: <div id="apDiv2"> <div id="apDiv1"></div> </div> But that "unfortunately" returns this result: Which was great when I first did it, (i always thought top:0; left:0; would put a div in the top corner of the page regardless of where it is within the code... so when i tried it in my last project and it used the top corner of the containing div as 0,0 that was exactly what i needed) but in my current project, I really need div1 to go to the top corner of the page, not div2, but still reside inside of div2... is this possible?
