HTML - Copy Form Web Puts Extra Info In Clipboard
The Daily Mail is doing something that has me puzzled.
When I go to this url in firefox http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencete...shut-down.html (or any url @ the Daily Mail actually) if I try and copy a paragraph the page it adds a link and some text to the bottom of what ever I copied. Hello I put up a static background portal page which has links to everything for the business and our email address. since the email address is static to the image, i want to make an image map and have that copy the email address to the clipboard and inform the user that it has been copies and can be pasted in their email client. The problem is that they have a lot of books in the catalog that are NetLibrary books. I can usually find just the dead-tree version by adding limiters and boolean operators, but I was wondering it is possible to make a form that would let me just type the book title and automatically add "not netlibrary" to it? I would like to add extra fields to my contact us form on osCommerce. The fields I would like are 'Category' drop down list which would be linked to a selection of email addresses, so that when a customer selects 'sales' or 'cust service' the email would go to a seperate email address each time. This would make it much easier to do admin work. Is it possible to change this without needing to install a ticketing system? This has driven me batty! Thanks. Hi I work at a helpdesk and we are creating a knowledge base of all of our information. We are currently trying to develop a way to track the steps that the agents have completed within the knowledge document. Therefore, someone brought up the bright idea that after each step or beside each step that there will be a check box. Once the agent clicks that check box the information from that step would be logged as a log comment within our ticketing system. Now we can move the data into the log comment field without a problem but we are running into the issue of copying the selected text with check box. Could anyone assist with the coding? In my job, I talk to a customer or another rep, solve their problem, and note their accounts respectively. To avoid unnecessary repetition and typing the same thing over and over, I had knocked up a little html page (stored on my hd) with a javacode that had my most frequently used notes, such that I could click a form button, and the note was copied to the clipboard. Then I could just tab back to my working software and paste the note into the account. This worked beautifully until the company updated the security in our system, and now no page may use java. With my little html app, I just had a page full of pressable buttons that had one or two keywords on them, so that I knew which note I was picking. Having all of the notes listed longhand and having to select them by hand just takes so long, when I had such an elegant solution before. Does anyone know a method of accomplishing this task without using Java? Hi all -- I'm having an interesting problem. I'm designing a web page that has a navigation banner (home - programs - schedule of events - contact us - downloads) that is made up of a .png for each page (i.e. home.png, programs.png, etc). My page is 1000px wide and all of the navigation banner's images add up to 1000px wide. I'm using JavaScript to create an onMouseOver and onMouseOut effect on each of the images. The problem that I'm having occurs when I tried to add a link (either by <A HREF= or using an image map). Whenever I add a link to the image, a small (3px) area of white space shows up to the right of the image. This shifts all of my other images 3px to the right (and 3 more for each link I add to subsequent images) thus making the total width of the navigation banner over 1000px and the last image gets shoved to a new line. I can find no way to get rid of this white space other than to remove the link from the image. There is no property on the page that adds any sort of padding, margins, or borders to images or links, so I can see no property that has to be changed. Help! How do I get rid of this white space but still keep the link on the image?? But i am having troubles with the wishlist.php when it replaces the index.php. And of course I want to make the change in the wishlist.php instead of the others. Hey guys. I hope I can get some help. I posted in another forum asking this question and got "clobbered". I am having issues with a site that uses tables to put together php files. The files, as per the norm are header.php, footer.php,clumn_left.php, the index page and footer.php. These are put together using an html table. Normally when I put these together it looks great. But i am having troubles with the wishlist.php when it replaces the index.php. And of course I want to make the change in the wishlist.php instead of the others.
