HTML - Won't Open Properly In Ie
hey everyone...I saw that you helped hasanoca,so I need same help.My site works in Safari,GGL Chrome and opera,but IE and mozilla won't open it right...everything is mixed up...so here is my site:

Is there a way to make it so that i can create a link that says "view" and if people click on it, then the standard "FILE DOWNLOAD" box does not come up... and it just opens the file in a separate window.... and have a "download" link where if they click that... then it just downloads the file. Hi guys this is my first post here, hope you can help. I am currently designing a websitefor the company I work for and the first page is almost completed with the exception of a little glitch. When the page first loads there are a few elements that are in the wrong place. Then when the page is refreshed these elements go where they are supposed to be. I have looked through the html and the css and can't find any problem as to why this is happening. I would really appreciate any suggestions as to why this is happening or how to fix it. I was going to give my website a new structure, so i would be able to make more stylesheets, without making different HTML's. And to give my website more differences between the stylesheets, i decided to put the leftpanel buttons into the css stylesheet too, so i was able to give them different looks just by changing the css. So i changed the source (src) to an transperant .png file called "linky.png", and then i gave each button an id. Each ID was named the name of what the button refers to, and what it is (Example: ID="Homebutton"). Now as you can guess, each button can't be seen, only be pressed on. So i went to my stylesheet (Classic.css) and entered the names and gave them properties (look below to see an example). Code: #Homebut {

And i was really excited over the result. I opened index.html using Firefox, but my excitement was over. The buttons didnn't show up. All i could 'see' was my invisible button. I don't think that this is a really big and hard problem to solve, it's probaly just something i spelled wrong or wrote wrong. But i checked everything, and i couldn't find any things that looked like that at all. That's why i kindly ask you to help me. Download everything you need for solving my problem right here! In some instances, IE7 does not underline the hyperlink or only partly underlines the link. Hello Gurus, I have a HTML webpage index.html and the expecation is that when user selects from drop drown opton it needs to display a webpage in the iframe underneath the option list. Below is the code snippet. From the code, you will see that it displays all www sites such as google.com, yahoo.com just fine without issues, however the local opel.html is not coming up at all. My default browser is Safari so I didn't notice the problem till now. I designed the site layout in photoshop and the site in dreamweaver and it works fine in IE and Safari but in Firefox the site layout gets split at the top of the page and you can see the background in a line. Now the layout has two CSS styles for content in the middle and sidebar on the left both have background color that matches the design #333 and #646464. These are noticeable in the split.
