So what options are out there for me to add a nice gallery to a website? Similar TutorialsI want to make a gallery. What is the best way to do this? Thanks Mazdak Hello Again! I am attempting to add a photo gallery to my website. (I do not wish to use someones software.) I want to learn the code for creating a photo gallery myself. Would anyone care to share thier knowledge? I promise to give credit where credit is due! I want to add an html page to my website that is...well...a Photo Gallery, but It requires knowledge of CSS/xhtml, and THAT is something that I am still learning. Thanks! I downloaded a free Flash photo gallery online. I uploaded my pictures into the gallery correctly and ran it on my local machine flawlessly. However, when I uploaded it to my site, the pictures are not showing up. The jpegs were correctly uploaded, so I'm not sure what the problem is. Heres the link if you want to check the code... http://kosscollision.com/Templates/h...wer/viewer.swf Any help would be appreciated! Can anybody help me out with this problem? I need to create a photo gallery in html such that if I click on one photo it should appear in the same window, if I replace that photo by other the name of the previous picture should not change. I have designed a website for a model, which you can see he http://www.amberalpern.com/model/onthejob/index.html I add additional photos to her website as she submits them to me. She would like the photos to be added at the beginning of the group of photos, but in doing this I have to change the navigation code on every page of which there is one page for every image. This is very time consuming. I have been adding them to the end of the group, which is very simple to do. Is there an easier way to add the images to the beginning of the group, using the existing structure I have developed for this site? Any workable suggestions will be appreciated. Lawrence I am looking at making a simple photo gallery with HTML/CSS only, that looks like this: http://i56.tinypic.com/29aurzm.png Does anyone know a good way going about it? HI, For a few weeks now Ive been trying to install a picture gallery to my webpage... When I find a script that seems to be simple to install, I have trouble installing it correctly.. Does anyone know a simple picture gallery script that includes thumbnails and also a good set of instructions? thanks so much Matt Does anyone happen to know if there is a way, other than resizing everything in a site manually, to display a website layout at half size but still functional? Basically what I want to do is display my design work on my site, but at only half size so that it 1) it fits within *my* design and 2) it is obvious that it is not the actual website. Taking screenshots is all well and good, but they really don't display the actual functionality of the website--CSS rollovers, etc. So I'd like to be able to pull up the actual code within either a div or an iframe. Is this something someone has already thought of and invented a solution? Its a script site, has an admin login area, no ***tion to add a counter. However, there are some free counters out there that have the code to copy and paste, but where do I input the code, can I paste it in the style css file? Thanks for your help Hello, I want to add a promotional code to my website that would offer a discount to my customer's purchase. How would I go about doing this? I use paypal as my merchant account. How would I go about adding a simple spam filter for quotes via my website? I am starting to get more spam than actual quotes! I asked my web designer about putting one on and it felt like he just dodged the question. On my website, I have an outside link. It's correct in HTML and then when I upload it and click on it, instead of going to www.google.com for example, it goes to www.mydomain.com/www.google.com instead. It's automatically adding my domain name to the beginning of my outside links. I already contacted GoDaddy and they said it must be something in the script, not one of their settings. So, how in the world do I fix this? I can't figure it out. trying to figure out the easiest way to work through a gallery of my photos. i want it to be very similar in the way that you click next/previous on this site: http://www.megwachterphoto.com/portraits/index.html and how the next image comes in. looking at the source code, it's pretty frightening for me as a beginner. any tips of how this is done? mine's going to be similar but probably with an .gif of a negative with arrows in it. each arrow will be sliced and assigned the next/previous thing. any ideas?? http://brandonmckenney.com/environment.htm that's my site, so the arrow/negative gif will be below the images that appear. Ok, here is the delema. I have just finished the layout of my football team's website, and now I have ran into a problem. Just as I was about to post some pictures, I realised that a page with a bunch op pictures on it doesnt look very nice. So I set out to find some sort of photo album tool that i could use to put into my code. Unfortunatly, all i could find was a program called jalbum. It seemed perfect except for one problem, it creates it's own entire webpage -.- I dont care how it works, it just needs to be flexible, becasue I have to be able to upload new pictures daily, otherwise I would have just made one in flash. Oh yea, here is a link to the temporary webpage that it is hosted at http://www.sitebywhite.com/cougars by the way, I need this BEFORE friday, as that is when we leave for our trip, so i need to be able to upload by then. He is my code in godaddy blog. I've tried everything. Please help <img src="http://images.quickblogcast.com/8/5/8/1/4/251413-241858/PamBlog.JPG" border="0" width="110"><br> The image is to the far left. Hi! I'm very new to HTML / CSS, (like, a total of 16 hours experience), and I am trying to make a website. I was wondering how to create a low maintenance Photo Gallery section. I need something that will have multiple galleries to choose from, and when chosen, the user can flip / scroll through the images. The reason I say 'low maintenance' is because when updating these galleries, each new photo set could be upwards of 50-100 photo's, and coding those in individually would get rather annoying. Is there a better way? My website code is available upon request if needed Thanks! So on my blog, which is on wordpress.com. I like the theme and most of it I think worked out decently, but I ran into a problem. So I have a page where it's a collage of portraits of people and I simply code it with a <a ref= ...> and I align it left and I just repeat that so each photo gets put right where the last one left off. The problem with it is now that I have over 200 photos on it, it loads REALLY slow. I was wondering if there was a way to code it so the resolution on each picture doesn't reload everytime you zoom in and out on your browser. I do want to keep it so that if you click on a photo, it goes to the individual picture (which is hosted on photobucket). Is there a way to do this? Because the scrolling up and down has become really slow and choppy on this page. Thanks a lot. P.s. if you wan't to see what I'm talking, the page is http://wtffund.wordpress.com/faces-of/ |
