HTML - Creating A Html Cookie
Hi There, I need some help creating a html cookie that collects information from a registration form I created in HTML. I then need to take that information and populate another form which is an invoice. So far I haven't been able to accomplish this on my own because I have the Regform.html, which already post info to a regform.php (this is what generates an email to me with the registration info). It is on that regform.php form they have the option to have a invoice created. Since I can't nest forms together I have to use this cookie method. The html cookies I have found online have not given me anything more then the generic cookie in which to place on someones pc.
No knowledge of JS doesn't help. These are the fields below that need to link from the regform.html to the invoice.html form. I just realized that I have multiple lines on the invoice for multiple registrants but the same is not true on the regform. However, when I tab from the subject line to the body, the cursor ends up at the beginning of my centered image. From there, the image moves when I type. What I'm looking to have happen is for the image to be static (un-movable) and the cursor to actually start positioned below the image with a left justification. Does anyone have any ideas? I have created several websites, but most of them are through templates being edited on the likes of Dreamweaver. I have been creating my template, and I have finished the banner, then all the buttons directly underneith it. I have a background colour... and now I'm up to the the area the text is supposed to go into, directly under the buttons (home, contact, forums etc). I want this to be a different colour to the background colour, and for it to just be a box, 950pix wide, and go as high/low as I want it to depending on how much text is going on that particular page. Hi there, I have problems in HTML coding.......in creating arithmatic operations in html. In other words, when the recepient alters the size of their preview/display panel in their email program (eg Outlook), the column widths/spacing and text size remains the same. On my website (www.mysite.com), when a user clicks on the register link, a new window opens that takes him to another domain (www.myreg.com) where he can register. When he's finished registering, the myreg.com window is closed. The requirement is that when he's finished registering, I need the myreg.com page to set a cookie somehow for www.mysite.com . I want to redirect visitors to a page on my site if they are not logged on, but can not figure out how to do it. thank you in advance My page is trying to set some cookies with semi-colons in some of the values, but (in Firefox) they are not being saved correctly - the saved values are being truncated at the semi-colon... (So, for example, instead of saving the value "name;age;" in the cookie, only "name" is being being saved. Presumably, you aren't allowed semi-colons in cookie values? Does anyone know what other characters are not allowed? To create a CMS in PHP, is the best way to do it to save sections of the html to either say either a db or text file.
