HTML - Unwanted Spaces

Hi guys,

I would like to block visitors from certain websites and if possible display a message that my website is no longer available.

Please help me with this. It's crucially important.

Hi there, I'm a bit of a noob to HTML, and I'm working on creating a site for my webcomic.

The main portion of the layout has a simple table with a header and footer at the top and bottom rows. It's supposed to look like

Whenever I put the code into an HTML test bed, it works fine, but for some reason refuses to work when I upload it to my FTP. It's driving me crazy. If you could help, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

Hey; I'm trying to build this menu in a table. Each row has an image, which I'm using for a rollover. Altogether, the table should be 202 x 285 pix.

The problem is, 5 pixels of blank space are being added under every image, (in the same row as the image), and I'm not sure why. Altogether, it's making my table 45 pix too large.

Any help would be appreciated.

I've created this website using frames and am now getting lines appearing at the edges of the frames on the bottom and right side when the browser window is at certain sizes.
I have no idea clue what's causing it or how to get rid of it. Any ideas?

Hey guys.

I am in the middle of making a new Mod for vbulletin and I ran into a bit of a snag.

If you go to www.chosen-wow.com/forumlist.php, you will see at the top that there is a "Raid Progression" table. In that table, you will see quite a few pictures with spaces between all of them.

How do I make the space between each image in a row go away? In other words, what code am I missing from the table code below?

Whenever I use mouseover images on top of one another (in a column for example), there is always a small gap in between them. Is there anyway to get rid of this space? Even when I put border and vspace to 0 and even omit using a <br>, that annoying gap appears! Any suggestions?

underneath my header div is a div called neck. Between the header div and the neck div there is space.. I don't want any space between these two. There are no margins i have put in, so i am confused. Here is the code

Has anyone else noticed that certain buzz words like "money" "cost" and others such marketing buzzwords in word press create unwanted links to vendor sites when using wordpress.

I'm pretty sure I'm not alone on this one.

And much more importantly how do I turn them off / get rid of them for good.

No matter how many times I delete it in the Content Management System, there is some text on my website that just won't go away. When I delete it in the CMS, it goes away, but then when I submit - it just pops back up.

Consider the following HTML code:

The problem is, despite specifying background colors for the div sections, inevitably there's a white space between the two sections. Instead, I want the colored sections to be adjacent to one another, without any space in between, like adjacent cells of a table. I'm trying to be good and avoid using <table>'s as so many tutorials have encouraged, but I'm unsure how to accomplish this without them. I believe this is possible but does anyone know for sure?

Edit: If it makes a difference, it's sort of a requirement that the content within the div sections will be <p>-enclosed blocks of text.

I'm having a problem with the hover pseudo-class for my navigation bar links. Whenever I put the mouse over the link the link becomes bold. The problem is that when it's made bold it moves the other four items on the navigation bar about 10 pixles to the right or left. What's the best way to fix this problem so that the links can become bold and not move the surrounding links? Here is the code for that specific section. Thanks a lot! ( Is there a better way to make space than by using &nbsp?)

So if you load it up in FF, you see that there is a stripe that goes across the bottom of the page and it is flush to the bottom of the window. That is how it is supposed to be.

In IE there is a space below that greyish stripe, and it's not supposed to be there. I can't figure out why!

The stripe is div id "footer_bg".

Hi all --

I'm having a problem. I have a series of 8 images that make up my navigation bar for the website I'm making. Each image has an <a href=" ... > </a> tag around it. I have zeroed out all of the padding/margins/borders on all of the images (in CSS and HTML). The problem I'm having is that a 2-3px padding is showing up to the left of each image, but only in Internet Explorer. Firefox and Chrome do not show the padding. To clarify, I DO NOT want the padding to be displayed.
