HTML - Html Doc Content

Hello
Are there any valid HTML tags that you can embed in a page that do not display content on the page?

I am looking to store data that a RSS feed can retrieve on a news page, but I don't want the content to display on the news page, only be pulled for the RSS feed.

Im trying to create a site that will constantly update in real time based on my activity.
For example, if i update my facebook status or add a new twitter update at 5:30 then the site will add to the top of the list Robin updated her facebook status at 5:30. and the list will continue to build.

I have 3500 pages of content on my site and i would like to monetize all of them by
placing some adds. The problem is that my advertisers might change sometimes and
i don't want to update all the pages each time i decide to go for some other advertiser
so i tought i should use another html file that would be displayed on all the 3500
pages and each time i would modify this file, it would update on all the 3500 pages.
I would like the page to be search engine friendly too, if possible. Also don't want to
use frames. So there would be small window 200 x 200 in size that would display the
content of the seperate file on all these 3500 pages.

So how should i do this, would java script be something to consider? I don't know
much about php and would not like to use it, what would be the easyest way to do
this? Also there can not be any borders in this window and it needs to be embedded
in to all these 3500 pages, in exact size of 200 x 200. This system needs to work in
IE, Firefox, netscape and opera!! The content would be adsense, banner or similar
content. Please advise....

Hi guys,

It's my first time on these forums, and I thought you all would be the best help I could get for my HTML problem.

I've just recently created a blog and I am currently using a custom template.
I'm not too familiar with HTML, or any sort of coding really, and I would like to stretch the content area of the template so that I could place larger images without it overlapping the grey bars.

I have no idea what values to change though or what I should be looking for. Could you guys help me out?

the problem is that i would like an additional hide funktion, but this script dosn't seem to support that, so basicly i would like the category to be called

PK
and then it should be divided again into groups of 1 video (named the same as the video)

Im not 100% sure if this belongs to the html section or php section.

Im not pro in html coding , but what i have is multiple html files for a site, I would like to publish content on each file at the same time without having to edit each file one by one.

Example: Lets say i have a news section on each page, i would like all pages to be updated automatically when news is publish on one page.

How would i go about achieving this? ASP? or will PHP be needed for this function.

im designing a we site by php i have a html form that collect some information from client an it has some script for hide or visible text box when user check a checkbox but when client run my page see a popup menu allowed blocked content.... i saw some site do this withou running this popup how can i do it?

Im trying to make my footer content align correctly to the main content when a window resizes. The apdivs don't seem to want to move at all even with a relative position etc. I have tried everything but just cant get it to work can someone help please?

Hey guys, I used to know a lot about html, but then just completely stopped doing anything with websites for too long.

I was just wondering how I can replace a word or number with a specified word or number.

What I want to achieve:
I've got a forum with a couple thousand members and it's picking up in activity and I want to make some names stand out for being helpful. I want to replace their names with an image.

But to do so, it'd have to be a code made and added into the footer template. Because obviously I can't edit a username for html image code. So I just need the code to find all instances of a certain username and replace it with what I specified.

I just upgraded all my .HTML pages to .PHP . But now I noticed that when my pages pull up in the search engines like Google, Yahoo, and MSN. They still show the old .HTML links?? When they click on the webpages from the search engines results you get error 404 page cannot be found.

How can I update the search engines or add code to my page so the search engines will reflect the new .PHP pages. Also it's been over a good week since I've update to .PHP

First I would like to know if there is a better way of doing this. <div></div> is the only way I know of doing it although others have told me they didn't even know it could be done with <div></div>.

Second I would like to know if there's some way to control the speed at which the box scrolls.

Third If the content is text then I want the scroll function to be vertical. There's other times I need the scroll to be horizontal.

This is what the code looks like when viewed in Chrome and Firefox. However when used in IE the content can often move through the boarders.
