HTML - Page Appearing Correctly In Safari...
As stated can anyone see where my "main" issue is this page...
http://materialmaterial.com/products/sunshop/ I have checked it in FF, Chrome and Opera and there is problem with any of them but for some reason in Safari the entire content is thrown to the right of the main container. Also, it works fine throughout the rest of the site (which is in static HTML /the shop part is dynamic...) I am sure that it is a simple miscalculation in the CSS but I cannot find it... Any help would be humbly appreciated... Thanks Similar TutorialsI just finished the rough draft for my new site. Everything looks fine in DW, but in the browser, it's all messed up! Can someone take a look and help me out? Take a look at the bullets about halfway down. http://nextlevelprofits.com/emailsecretsexposed/ Thank you SO much! Hi I used the embed link to add a Google mape to the following page: http://www.bigbadroo.com.au/top-stit...ww/contact.php The map appears correctly in FF, but in the other two it adds the whole google maps page to the embeded area, not just the map image. Anyone else had this problem and found a solution? Cheers Shaun www.lasrocasresort.com , IE and Firefox both render the page correctly . Safari will leave a blank line between the flash banner and the body of the page. Any suggestion ? Pakal I am having trouble getting everything to fit correctly on a page. Below is a picture of my page and the sections I have split it up into. As you can see, the problem lies in the banner on the right. It is longer than all of the other rows, but I can't split it up because it is a banner. The way I have set up my page is by creating a table and then each row is another table in side of the first table. I'm not sure if this is even correct. How do I go about setting up my page so that everything fits together (including the banner)? (this is a picture of what's wrong) For the life of me I can't seem to figure out why this page jump isn't working. http://www.thegoheens.com/resources/test.html Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks! Hey guys, I am not sure how to explain this correctly so I hope just seeing it and the page source can help explain it. On this page.. http://www.outdoorescapade.com/hiking.html About 3 quarters of the way down, if you click on the slide panel 'button' under lake louise and smith dorrien, it slides down but the text of 'slide panel' changes to being squished on the right hand side and the list on the left doesn't end where it is suppose to. It is pushed a bit down which I think is what is causing the text in the button to be messed up a little. I've checked it many times and even copied it from the other parts where I have used it on the page but it still does the same thing... Any ideas? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Our organization's webpage was created in Dreamweaver, with some additional javascript and html code added by an intrepid staff member with just enough knowledge to be dangerous. The page displays properly in Internet Explorer and Firefox for Windows, as well as Firefox and Netscape for Mac. However, the page displays a white screen in Safari. The page is loading, because the page title displays, and it is possible to view the source code for the page using the "View --> View Source" menu option. But none of the page content shows up. I did not find any relevant help in the Safari forums on the apple page, so I'm wondering if this is a simple coding problem that I don't know enough to ferret out. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. The website address is http://www.buttecounty.net/bclibrary Thanks, Derek PROBLEM SOLVED I am quite in shock that I just found out my page looks horrible in IE. I coded it myself, but I don't know what to do. If anyone could please take a look at the code for this page: http://www.thegearedinvestor.com I would really appreciate it. As you can see in IE, the second column is shifted all of the way down to the bottom, where it should be right beside the left column. The code for this starts at the line: <div id=centercolumn align=right> <script type="text/javascript" src="http://feedjit.com/coFilter/?bc=FFFFFF&tc=494949&brd1=336699&lnk=494949&hc=336699&ww=160"></script><noscript><a href="http://feedjit.com/">Feedjit Live Blog Stats</a></noscript> <br><!-- closes innercentercolumn2 --> I'll continue to work on it, but any help would be amazing. Thanks in advance! I've spent almost a week designing, coding and uploading this site. Only to have it not display properly in firefox or safari. I've included a link to the site and several screenshots as well as the source code. Please help! This image shows it as it is int ie 7 on windows xp http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...asintended.jpg this image shows it on safari and fire fox: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...art/safari.jpg website link: www.tavasystems.com Thanks in advance. I am working on a website and so far it is coming together the way I intended. Looks good on Chrome, and Safari. IE is not right yet but it looks as expected since I haven't done the IE style sheet yet. However, Firefox is producing a completely unexpected problem. http://nickbogatin.com I will post code but I don't even have an idea as to where the error is yet. Help would be appreciated. Nick I'm struggling to figure this one out! My index.php opens about half way down the page in Safari on macs (both 3.1 and tested in v2). It appears at the proper top position in Firefox, Opera and IE5 (all on mac - don't have access to Windows until tomorrow). The site is www.betterfootball.co.uk I only noticed it after google analytics had been implemented but it might have been this way for a little while before (I use IE5 and Firefox 3 whilst building site). It's almost like a rogue anchor point has been inserted. Please, any ideas? Ok, so i worked very hard for about 4 hours to make my page valid (click). Now, i worked out everything to work in firefox and safari and then installed opera and it looks fine in that, as well as in mobile safari (for iPod Touch). But, believe it or not, when i try it in IE, everything is completely messed up. I am extremely tired of me having to go the extra mile because the idiots behind IE dont know how to make a fricken browser. Anyways, with the rant out of the way, can anyone help me fix this up? any tips or ideas on what is causing this? http://Flysinger.com thanks, -ajp Hi! I'm working on adapting a we-based system called OTRS (open ticket request system) for our offices here and I've just finished modifying all the headers and css and stuff for our needs. Now, I did it in Firefox and I'm brand spanking new to this game so when one of the header logos didn't appear in IE7, it took me about an hour to figure out maybe it was IE7 that was the problem, and it turns out it is... so would someone mind having a look at this below? It's very basic, but what's happening is that the picture 'HeaderCropped' isn't displaying, the border outlines don't even show, only that funny little graphic that appears when a picture is missing ( I don't know what it's called). Obviously I'd like to be able to see the picture in both FF and IE7, but will this take a major overhaul of this code? (It took me quite a while to do this little bit!) Thanking you in advance! -Emily _________________________________________________________ # include Copyright.dtl $Include{"Copyright"} # set some html variables #<dtl set $Env{"Box0"} = ">> "> #<dtl set $Env{"Box1"} = " <<"> # check refresh <dtl if ($Data{"Refresh"} ne "") { $Data{"MetaHttpEquiv"} = "<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="$Data{"Refresh"}">"; }> <html> <head> $Data{"MetaHttpEquiv"} <title>$Config{"ProductName"} $QData{"TitleArea"}</title> $Include{"customer-css"} </head> <a name="top"></a> <body> #<!-- start CI layout --> <table border="0" width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0"> <tr> <td width="100%" class="header"><img style= width: 454px; height: 109px; "src="/otrs-web/images/Standard/HeaderCropped.jpg"> </td> <td width="100%" class="header" title="www.alliedpensions.com"><a href="http://www.alliedpensions.com"><img border="0" src="/otrs-web/images/Standard/APTLogo.jpg" width="150" height="100"></a></td> </tr> <tr> <td colspan="2"><hr align="left" width="100%" height="2"><!-- end CI layout --><!-- end header --></td></tr></table></body></html> I recently picked up some javascript code from an external site to set up a feedback form for the site I run; I did some messing about with it and came up with what is currently at the site: http://www.trekandromeda.com/Temp/feedbacktest.html . Trouble is, the left hand button (no matter which of the four is placed in that position) always appears as a very small one with no type on it. I have no idea what in the code might be causing this and would very much appreciate any help on this score. Thanks! Why favicon do not appear on this my page? http://www.astrosport07.webs.com/pakistancricket.html On some other pages of same website they appear, for example: http://www.astrosport07.webs.com/parcska2009.html Greetings, Goca Hey, I'm new here so I hope this is in the right forum. I am trying to make a program just to simply store information in a better fashion and presently cannot get an HTML file to appear in the right place. Also note that my experience in HTML programming is very basic, as in started-fooling-around-with-it-the-other-day-basic. Here is my code: Quote: <html> <head> <title>Title</title> <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="main.css"> </head> <frameset frameborder="0" border="0" framespacing="0" rows="100,*"> <frame marginwidth="0" marginheight="0" src="html/message.html" name="top" scrolling="no" target="text" noresize> <frame marginwidth="15" marginheight="15" src="html/home.html" scrolling="auto" name="main" target="text"> </html> The layout will as message.html appearing as a horizontal window at the very top of the screen just show the most recent news and topics, index.html will appear on the left hand corner of the screen allowing links for navigation, and home.html will appear every where else in the center to bottom right hand corner of the screen. I have the links up and running for the index.html and can bring up new files that appear in the index frame but I need them to appear in the home frame, what is the line the line of code for this. Thank you for any help. Hey everyone, hope your having a good a day! My header on my wordpress blog is appearing twice and I don't know why. It's fine on my homepage but on the other two pages, it appears twice! I would love some help with this but would prefer to PM my blog address if that's ok with you? Thank you, I really appreciate this because I'm a COMPLETE newbie and have no idea about html ect. Thanks again! Steve Hi all-- Even this seems like a stupid question to me, but I can't seem to figure it out. I've been creating a site for awhile now, with many images. I've uploaded all the images to the server, but some of them still aren't showing up. I've checked and rechecked my paths, links, that the images are uploaded, etc. and I can't figure it out. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason on images showing up or not. Here is one of the URL's: http://www.playdr.com/classicphotote...tanytease.html. (Keep in mind it is adult, but no nudity--I don't want to offend anyone) If anybody could give me ANY help at all, it would be greatly appreciated--this is driving me nuts. Also, I don't know if this is of any interest, but the server this is on just got updated, and I have had a little trouble with it so far, so I don't know if that might be a factor as well? Anyway, thanks again in advance for any help. |
