HTML - How To Keep People From Cut And Pasting My Website...?

I notice people have been copying and pasting material from my website. I'd like to be able to block this...like the way Snopes.com does it. How do you do that? I want to insert an image created in front page but cannot seem to get it to work. I have tried to cut and paste the code, drag and drop but without success. Any suggestions? There is an embeded text editor on the site however it doesnt allow me to view source code so pasting the raw code generates, well raw code... are there any additional tags i can insert to get round this? thanks in advance. Joe I work in a call centre responsible for maintaining a database of customer's details. When this goes wrong it is important that we have an effective way to pass customer complaints onto the complaints team. The existing procedure is to compose an email which contains the customers name, what they are complaining about and a few other key details. we also include a screen print of the application used to update the customer records which preserves the state of the customers record when the complaint was logged. This is a vital part of the procedure (very helpful info for ascertaining blame etc.) People currently miss out a lot of details from there emails and I have been asked to make a web based form to capture all this information and generate an automatic php email to the complaints team when the form is submitted. I have got this bit nailed... all that eludes me is the screen prints of the application. My manager was convinced you could ctrl+v the screenprint into the textarea on the form but I was sceptical of this idea and obviously it didn't work. How can I attach images to the form and send them as attachments when the form is submitted? Hello everybody. I am new around here and also newbie when it comes to HTML hence the reasson why I am here. I am using PageBreeze to create some eBay templates. I then copy the html code and past it onto eBay when listing a product. The problem is that, in the PageBreeze everything is fine and well formatted. When I past the code into eBay, the whole formatting is shot to bits, with massive gaps between words and paragraphs. Any comments on this are well and truly appreciated. I'm working on an Enter page, but before they can go on from the Enter page I want them to register before they can see anything else beyond that point. And when they register is it possible to have a page where all the people whos registered? Basically, i've set up a contact form and once it's filled in, it sends you to a thankyou page. I want to stop people going to that page manually by typing in the url for it. Hi I'm setting up a site that sells images that the user creates online by selecting a combination of PNG images with transparency (using drop down menus). The images are layered using CSS, and the last layer has a watermark image to help prevent print screen copies. I then use PHP to create a composite image of the user's final work, that they can then buy. The only problem is that there is nothing to stop the user from bringing up each individual image on a new browser page using the address of each image eg http://www.mysite.com/images/image1.png - downloading or print screening them, and making their own composite image. I was wondering if there is a way to prevent someone accessing the individual images by typing something like http://www.mysite.com/images/image1.png in a fresh browser tab? So that when ever a visitor visits the website I want the counter to increase say from 101 to 102 and then for a new visitor it should be 103 and then again for the next visitor 104 and so on..... So, I've designed my site to cater best to FF, but now I'm noticing that it looks like it should in IE, and it seems like FF blows up my text and images an extra size! Why is this? Hi I am new to these forums, I am currently building a website from a template I purchased. It is coming along well but I am now stuck when trying to use the first page of my website as an ebay listing page. Of course when I upload my new ebay page there is nothing but text and broken links. How do I connect this html in my ebay listing page with my source code on my website?. Or do I have to upload all image files for borders and headers to a server separately and link straight to them one by one?. Is it to do with the very top html on the page where it says similar to href source etc etc?. My website is fine since I have uploaded all the necessary files to the directory so linking all the images etc. Really appreciate some help I have been stuck for weeks trying to get the graphics to work on my ebay page. |
