HTML - How To View Website In Windows Browser When Using A Mac

is there like a slick way to view a list of files in a ftp directory in html code?

Hi.

It's just an old personal website that I don't really update very often.

But, I can't figure out why it's not working the way it used to work.
It used to have a narrow, vertical part on the left side, which was a navigation bar (with choices to click on) and the right was aa much bigger window that took up most of the page and it would change when you clicked on the left side. The left is supposed to stay the same. But now it's gone all crazy!

The part that says "Welcome" is supposed to be in a big window on the right side and the links that say "About Me," "Things I've Written," etc... should be in the narrow window on the left that doesn't change.

Would someone please help me put it back to how it used to be?

May web site is not all browser is not same size.

I've created a blog on tumblr and attached it to a domain I purchased. The problem is it looks absolutely great in Safari (Windows) but not as great in IE or Firefox (Windows).

Here is the site in safari, the screenshots mac but its the same on windows.



and here is the IE version.



The font (Century Gothic) looks terrible compared to the safari version.

Tumblr has the feature to edit html but I am not that great with html and have basic knowledge.

If anyone wants to see the html I will show them it.


If anyone could help me alter the html to make the website look as smooth in IE and Firefox as it does in Safari I would be majorly grateful.

I'm trying to create a small website for my family, and I want to incorporate this drop-down menu from Sons of Suckerfish. I had some help altering the menu a bit, but I'm still having a few problems. =(

I'm testing my site in as many browsers as possible, and I came across two major problems:

Problem #1: The Top Menu
It doesn't work in IE6. The menu keeps jumping VERY far to the right. Also, the words "Home", "By Year", etc. should change color when hovered on.

Problem #2: The "Thanks" Section
My "Thanks" section isn't looking right, either. For some reason, Netscape won't space the image away from the text:

I know Netscape Navigator is pretty much "extinct" now, but I'm still curious to know what the problem is. I'm guessing the problem is the "display: inline-box" code in my DIV tag. Is there another code I can use to fix this problem, or maybe there's a hack I can use for Navigator?

Or...should I stop using DIVs and acheive the same effect another way (like with a table or something)?

I made my own web site... www.mar-cela.com howver, when I open it with Explorer I cant see my jpg images, when I open it with Firefox all is ok. Any suggestions?

Hello, it seems every now and then when I create an image from a document/scan or such and I upload it, It displays fine in FireFox, however users in IE are reporting that they're not seeing the image.

Can anyone take look at this image and tell me if you see this displaying in IE?

Is this an IE bug or something? How come this image appears fine in FireFox but not IE?

Is there a code that makes it so that you can only view a page once per day. I'd like it to kinda be Jscript, so if you don't have it enabled, you can't view the page.

Hello I have a website with coding for a login and registration page.....I was able to get the login to work but the registation I am yet to figure out....but now when I go to my website and click on a link no matter what link it is it always makes me go to the login page.....any ideas why this is happening?

Ok, I got my site to work in Safari and FF, but the only problem I am having is that in IE in the banner there is a black bar that runs accrossed.. And I can't seem to find out what is causing this..
