HTML - Putting One Page Inside Another
I am failry new to html and I need some help.
I have a link on a page. When it is clicked I want another page (which is basically made up of a small 2X3 table) to appear on the same page as the link. I am trying to do this without using frames as they are becoming depriciated. Similar TutorialsI need help with my layout + putting content on my page + putting wordpress on my page and editing it to match someone help please? how can i have the actual website in a column in the midle of the page, and have a background around it? and have a rolover image change. Can anyone help me with this please? Im really new to html and I wanna make a website. >.> Anyway I want to make the website in flash because im way better at flash and I won't have to learn as much. So what I wanna do is 1. make the website in flash (just attach the file/image or something) 2. When you click on a certain thing it will link to another page on the site and there I'll have a movie/game attached there. My latest project is a website that I plan to update via a vBulletin "back end" I wanted to do this via RSS feeds from the forums. What I am trying to do is have it so I can put ONLY the data from a single forum post inside a HTML page, that will then update as I update the forum post. I have started reading up a little and found that vBulletin offers the following methods: -XML -RSS -RSS1 -RSS2 All of them methods appear to pull data that I do not need/want (posted by, date, time, link to the post). I literally JUST want the data from inside the post to be inserted in to the HTML page. Besides that, I am unsure of how to add the actual data to the web page. Hi, How can I link to a directory inside my website so it shows inside my page instead of alike you just link to the directory. So like the directory to my files is httlp:/mysite.com/download/. Basically the scenario I have dreamt up is creating a table that will have, say, three columns: item_image0 ...|... item_name0 ...|... item0_LIVE_CONTENT item_image1 ...|... item_name1 ...|... item1_LIVE_CONTENT item_image2 ...|... item_name2 ...|... item2_LIVE_CONTENT "item_LIVE_CONTENT" will be nothing more than a few lines of text which will reveal the item's current 'value', but it *pulls* this information in via a hyperlink/URL. I have no other way to access this information than by using a webpage (I just happen to know the actual URLs for the individual items)... and I am attempting to build a one-page ''Quick List'' of items and their current associated 'values' at the time the webpage is generated. If this is possible, without using iFRAMES, PHP, external .JS files, or other WWWeb Browser-specific features, I am all eyes and ears... oh, and FINGERS! *smile* Everything (coding-wise) has to be included in 'same' HTML file as the 'table', that *fetches*/*calls* the hyperlinked data. Where "top" is i put <div id="background"> but it dosnt work it just dissapears, btw <div id="background"> is the top part of my website "My local menu" bit, i will also add the css code for it below. Each column has a border. I'd like to set the 1st column on the left side, and the other 5 columns without a space between them on the right side. But there is still space between them. What am I doing wrong?? By the way - the 5 colums on the right side contain pictures. They are supposed to be in the middle with the same distance around to the border - doesn't work either ... the picture stucks at the top - but at least horizontally in the middle ... Also the "smiley.gif" where does this come from if i wanted to change the picture that you click on how would i do this ??
