HTML - Embedded Video Alignment Problem

Hi i have sucessfully added an embedded code to my site... not a problem.. copied and pasted html coding from a video.. into html view.. fine.
However.. the video appears top left of my page always.

Within the embed video code i see no parameters for screen positioning.. just size.. which is repeated twice (all codes from utube vids etc seem the same)

I would like to link an youtube video on one of my blog post using the embedded code that youtube provided. So I added in my post html view this code:

Before to publish the post I tested it, with the wordpress preview option. Some browser not works well.This is the scenario:

1) Using the last version of the Internet Explorer browser the post with the video works fine.

2) Using the last version of the Google Chrome browser I have to reload the html page two times before to view exactly the embedded video. After that the page works fine but when I load for the first time the page I don't see the video.

3) Using the last version of the Safari and the Firefox browser I have to reload two times the html page before to view the embedded video and after I have a problem viewing the video. The message is that the format video is not supported.


Could you please help me to solve the problem. Which is the correct way to use the embedded code starting from youtube website ?
How can I debug the issue ?

Using the Greasemonkey script on Facebook, I was able to embed a video on my website. However, the code is not XHTML compliant (includes embed tags). The code is below. I've struggled trying to convert this into code using the object tag. is it possible? Can someone show me where I need to move each part of the existing code into an "object" based code?

Hi there,

I know nothing formal about HTML, hence the code below being converted from an Open Office file. Hopefully it is readable - it is some declarations, a body with maybe 10 links in it, and then an embedded video code from Exposure Room.

I have the alignment how I want it, but the background-black in the body doesn't work any more. Is anyone able to show me how to keep the center alignments I have but also switch the background of the whole page to black? It works if I take out the <center> tags but then everything is left aligned, which I don't like.

Any help would be appreciated, cheers,

Hi all, beginner question here.

I'm attempting at building a small website for my local golf club, one of the tabs on the page is a "Contact" link, inside this tab page I have attempted to embed a small GoogleMap with co-ordinates of the golf club. Whilst testing with IE7 the embedded GoogleMap appears randomly at the bottom of the page totally out of place where it should be. If browsing using Firefox, IE8 or Chrome it appears in the correct place, which is in the middle of the "Contact" page, and only when you click on the "Contact" tab.

I only seem to have this issue with IE7, all the other browsers I've tested so far it aligns perfectly (Firefox, IE8, Chrome).

As I say above, this issue only appears in IE7 - however I'm more than sure it is just a stupid mistake on my behalf, but I've tried and tried and can't seem to resolve it.

Appreciate any help anyone can offer - Many thanks in advance.

I have this problem that i got a media player embedded to my pages using activeX
controls, and i would like to make it work a little bit different. I need the player to
display stream 1, first from location localhost:8800/uys.wma this takes 10 seconds,
then it needs to open stream 2 from location localhost:8800/uys2.wma that takes
3 minutes and then finally it needs to display stream 3 as long as it takes. So how do
i make the player play multiple streams after another. Also this player should start
automaticly when someone enters the page... Please help!

Also this needs to work in Firefox and IE... Anyone have source code for this kinda
system and is there a script to prompt for plugin for firefox?

I've been using Visual Studio 2005 to create a website, and my embedded videos will not play. They play fine when I start the website through VS 2005, but if I just open the files through IE, they videos don't start. VS shows the site through IE as well, so I'm not sure what the problem could be.

I'm having trouble with embedding multiple videos to the same player. I'm not using asx files, but rather wmv to make a selection-list. I found a site that solved my due problem and the thing works. however!! The URL in the code refers to youtube videos, and that's great and all, but I needed 'em to link to my own media files. so I changed the URL's to those on my server, and here's the problem: when doing it offline with the files on my harddrive I can add as many files I want to without it complaining, but the second it goes online or I link to wmv files on the internet it can't seem to get a connection. It only works if I have but a single <div> entry typed. As soon as I add more the thing bugs. I even tried changing "application/x-shockwave-flash" to "application/x-mplayer2" Please!! Any solution to this?? What am I doing wrong??

I have the png over an embedded video and the center of the png is transparent, but because the the cursor doesn't recognize the video play button behind it, I can't click on it. Is there a way to have the png in the foreground, but use recognize the link behind it?

I've finally figured out how to get my video started, but it won't loop.
Also, the video won't work in IE.
I'm trying to load this video without forcing my viewers into installing plugins, if possible.

Hi everyone! I'm new here! And i got a real weird problem!

Like you can see on my image, i use a Spry Horizontal Menu and a Youtube Video.

And when i use Firefox the Menu is over the video (Ok)
But when i use other kind of browsers the video is over the menu, only able to see the 3 sub menus!

I'm using javascript in the Spry Horizontal Menu and the iframe embed code in the youtube video.

As already happened this to anyone! Someone know how to solve it? What code do you need to see? Please help

I've been putting my layout into html from photoshop and finally finished, thing is I was using Firefox to view it as I went along. Now when I view it in Internet Explorer, there is this small unexplained space on the right side of my header image that is screwing up the page, plus the table that I have the navigations links on the top left has way more spacing between rows than it does on Firefox.

the two problems a

1) the empty space to the right of 'header_red.jpg' and 'top-2-shadow.jpg' at the top of the page

2) the links in the 'sections' area at the top-left (characters, combat, etc.) is much more spaced out than it is in Firefox, and does not look right

I absolutely cannot figure out how to fix this and it's driving me nuts, anyone have an idea?
