HTML - Help Can't Stop A Page Break Need Advice :)
Hi trying to throw down a couple of buttons along a line, but for some reason my second button gets put down to a second line instead of going right beside the first one. I changed over the <div> tags in the recommended button code to <span> in an attempt to stop the line break, but it persisted.

I tried using the CSS method, but its doenst work in all browswerrs and is very finicky. Any suggestions? Hey guys I asked a similar question before about the best way to go with page layouts and the only response I got was to go with one that will properly change with resolutions and browsers, etc.. I am learning and want to develop practical and sound habits from early on. If any of you would be willing to throw me out some good pointers, etc.. That would be great. I am creating my page from home on my personal desktop computer. It has a 17 inch, HP v72 crt monitor. The problem that I am having is getting my page to look right on other computers. eg.,image/text/link placement. Example: My page looks fine when I view it from home on my own pc. But when I view it on my pc at work, everything is out of place. How can I create a website that will look good on all the various monitor sizes, and screen resolutions? Thanks! I have this widget that a friend made for me. It allows the user to select the colors on the bracket bands on a picture of a mouth full of braces. If you grab a color and click on individual teeth - no problem. If you click on one of the buttons that colors all, top only, bottom only, odd only, even only, etc. When the button is clicked the page resets to the top. So everytime I add a picture or text my website page gets "longer". I then move the text or picture with the "div" tag so I can position it where I like. But the webpage is still the same length as it was before I moved the object. So How can I stop the page from getting longer everytime I add text or picture to it? I've tried to put that block of code into another <div> to even it out all out with display: inline, but that doesn't work. I am also unable to use spans, although that would be the obvious route.
