HTML - How To Create A Countdown Before The Download

Hi Guys,

I hope someone can help me out with this.

I want to add a countdown timer to the top of this salespage. I have designed it and it works fine he http://www.conqueryourpart3.com/countdown1.htm

I have copied the code from the countdown timer page and inserted it at the top of my salespage. However, the countdown timer doesn't work, it's no longer in the middle of the page and the text lower down the page now goes too close to the margins! See he

Can anyone help me with this as I can't figure out what I've done wrong.

I would be very grateful if someone would help me with the following:

I need a countdown script for my site. And not teh ki9nd that counts down to a date or an hour or sm..

I need the kind that would produce the following effect:

1) when the visitor arrives to the site the number says 20 (example)
2) 10 minutes into his session it says 19
3) 20 minutes into his session it says 18

and so on...

I am sure that can be done but I don't know how to do it. Any help is very appreciated.

I've seen these sites all over the place used generally for adult sites but I was wondering if there's a script out there for it. I want a pay per download site but not for adult content, for video and indie films.

I have placed some mp3 files into a folder in my httpdocs.
Then I emailed the link to a file.

When I select the emailed link, the mp3 plays. But I'd like to download the file, but I don't see where/how.

When I right click the link, my only choices a
Select All
Look Up...
Translate...

The greyed-out (unavailable) choices a
Cut
Copy
Paste
Clear

Shouldn't it be when I right click the link the choices should be
Save
Save As

I'm using IE, and the same is true when i put the url in the browser of when I Alt-F. Save is still greyed out.

How can I do this correctly so it's easy to download the file?

I would like the senior folks of my mobile home Park to be able to download a .pdf telephone directory file of our 600 home Park.

I have created the file, and I'll be placing it on my Apache Server -- probably in my '..\images\' directory.

I have set up some document downloads with <a href>NameofDocument</a> , but everytime a user downloads a document a blank browser window opens and then comes the pop up to either save or open in Office.
Any ideas on how to keep this blank browser window from opening or being created.

I like to know how to make a file download in a new window, like most sites have, I want to add some adsense in that page along with the link to the manual download link if automatic download fails.

Lets assume i have a link to an image on a page, is it possible to make a code or script or something so when i click on the link to that image, it downloads it not open it in the browser???????

My Site is hosted on linux site and i have basic cgi scripts for page counters, but does anyone know how i can create a download counter for files which can be made visible to users. I want the content to be updates live on the site ( basic count per click )

I have uploaded an MP3 (Legal as i created this myself) to my website and want to give people the ability to download it. I tried the code:

<A HREF="mymp3.com">Download </a>

When i tried the link it just started plaing the MP3 using quicktime. I dont want them to stream it, i want when people click on it, a download box appears. Any ideas on what i an doing wrong. The mp3 is in the same directory as the html page the link is on.
